Garfield and Josh Keaton voices are quite close to the voice I heard in my head for Spider-Man whilst reading comics growing up. If Marvel reboot then they HAVE to capture a great Spider-Man AND Peter Parker. I can't deal with a non character for Spider-Man again.

Do they have awards for the cheesiest villains in a superhero movie? If so I think it's BS that TASM 2 has no nominations. :o

lol. No 'cheesy' awards in the Razzies.

TASM2 may have had a lot of issues but after watching both TF and TMNT at least it's not the worst movie last year.

I agree. ASM2 has plenty of issues but imo it's still a very mediocre movie and nowhere near the worst of the bunch.

I think ASM has some great moments so (imho) doesn't deserve the flak it has been getting. Garfield, Stone and Fields give really good performances, that's half the cast (broadly speaking).

TASM2 still got 50%+ on Rotten Tomatoes. It never had a chance of Razzies, as much as I dislike the film.

I said it before and I'll say it again....

If Marvel gets Spider-man, for his costume I want the big, fat, $&@%ing Spider-man on the back.

CDB will always be the voice in my head. His quips were spot on.

I think it's even rougher for TASM2 because it was released in between two better received CBMs.

The Amazing Spider-Man was released between The Avengers and TDKR. Spider-Man just has bad luck lol.

I was wondering what you thought of that "email" joker?

Which email is this? I've tuned out of all this stuff until something official is announced.

That shouldn't make a difference. A good movie can stand on it's own merits. It shouldn't matter what movies came out around it. 2014 is proof of that. GOTG, DOFP, and TWS all came out within weeks/months of each other and all did really well and were loved because they're fantastic movies. TASM 2 is the odd one out. Spider-Man should have been among the aforementioned celebrated CBMs.

I found my socks with the individual toes that I've been looking for since last winter... Spider-Man news? Unfortunately not...
Yay! :D you've found your winter socks! you're gonna need em'

You're in for a treat!!

Just to make sure I'm not seeing things here as the print is very small, but does that say Emma Stone as the antagonist for a Carnage movie? Sinister Six movie to break the 2 billion mark? Do a Spider-Man 4 movie with Raimi but recast Dunst and Maguire?

It should be noted that the Email is surely a fake. Even though I'm sure you know that.

Yup... The reddit comments are the best, some people actually believe this to be true.

Just in case anybody is unclear - according to the email (whether it's fake or not is a different story) the deal they came to is:

Spidey in Civil War. Andrew will play him. TASM3 in 2017, with Avi Arad and Sam Raimi producing and the Russo's directing. Marvel are allowed to recast everybody except Andrew. Spidey will appear in the MCU at least 2 more times before TASM4 in 2018. 2020 will see The Amazing Spider-Man vs Spider-Man (Andrew v Tobey). After 2020, Marvel will regain the rights to Spider-Man fully.

Sorry for the repost, it just seems like some people aren't understanding the (probably fake) email. :funny:

I think it's a little different like for instance when SR and the TLS came out. if the other 2014 movies weren't well received it wouldn't have put such a huge magnifying glass on TASM2. It wouldn't have necessarily make TASM2 look better but maybe it wouldn't have been so glaring.
