An MCU Spider-Man movie does not need to have Nick Fury or any significant MCU character (except Kingpin and maybe Daredevil) appear as it would seem forced. For me, an MCU Spidey movie can exist in the MCU without an appearance from any major MCU characters. Direct references is all that is needed to make the audience know that he exists in the same universe as the Avengers. I've already said my ideas for MCU mentions and references in an MCU Spider-Man movie, I do have more references though.

Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, Daredevil Season 2 (maybe), AoS, Civil War, mid-credit scene, post-credit scene, solo film in 2016 or 2017...

Yep, there are plenty of opportunities for Spidey to pop up before 2018. Actually, I'd be shocked if they didn't use him at all before throwing him into the Avengers. Even Hawkeye got a Thor cameo.

And even if it were three years until another Spidey solo movie, who cares? I'd rather him sit for awhile with maybe some cameos or small roles in other movies. Seeing a good representation of Spidey in small pieces here and there will definitely get people's appetites wet--show a little and leave people wanting more, not to mention a three year time frame will help to rid the sour taste in our mouths given the current state of the Spidey franchise. It's a good idea, imo,to give Marvel time to create something worthwhile--quality is most important.

I'm very serious; as serious as it gets!
I want Spider-Man films, not team up films!
And I don't want to wait all the way till phase ****ing four either! (Which is like 2021)

As I said earlier, Marvel is great at introducing characters in a different MCU film. This may be no different.

Although I have my doubts about the rumor regarding Carol Danvers and Age of Ultron.
