Believe it or not he was in the running to play peter in James Cameron's Spiderman (or so it is told)

He would have been an ok fit back in the day. If Mysterio and Shocker are, as rumored, being considered for the first MCU Spidey film, how do you guys want them to look?

I have a few ideas for mysterio:

-Daft Punky helmet, sleek black armored suit, light blue smoke in helmet
-Shattered Dimensions look
-Daft Punky Helmet, sleek green armor, purple cape, blue smoke in helmet
-Daft punky helmet, black suit and tie, cane

As for shocker, they can go as comic book accurate as they want. I'd look to Batroc in Winter Soldier for an example on how to make a comic boom accurate suit well also being realistic and grounded

I like the black suite and tie plus cane idea, when I saw his name for the first time I pictured one of those old-timey magicians you see in cartoons. Actually, I just saw a list of Spidey enemy names and came up with my own visual image for each when I was little

I had already seen Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Lizard and Venom

Vulture: Creepy old lady in feathery coat

Sandman: The Sandman from old lore, an old wizard that puts you to sleep

Carnage: A crazy guy in military fatigues

Kraven: No idea

Hammerhead: A shark-themed villain

If Carnage were to appear, I'd love it if the red parts resembled muscle tissue, and the black parts looked like veins.

Hehe, when I was like 5 I thought Kraven was a raven-themed friend of vulture's. Then a few years later I read Kraven's Last Hunt, and there were no birdies.

I love that look, but I also really loved his look in the TASM2 game with the full gray beard. He looked a lot older and more haggard.

Yup! Shocks, knives, animatronics, traps, fog escapes, and I'd say the hallucinations are incorporated into physical battle even if they technically aren't physical.

(Edit: Francis Klum's mysterio had the shocks I believe, but beck had lasers)

He's like Scarecrow in the sense that he prefers psychological manipulation to physical combat, though I read online that he is indeed trained in hand to hand combat.

Kraven's costume is relatively easy to accomplish. Just replace the leopard tights with camo and bam, you've got your suit.

Yup, and I'd imagine a live action rendition would feature a sword.

Also, I've suggested this many times, but how about using doctor strange elements to give him some actual magic elements. Maybe the movie opens with him robbing a Hydra base and stealing some magical mcguffin

Maybe towards the end he acquires some sort of MCU magical whatchamacallit that gives him infinite power beyond just practical effects.

I definitely wanna see him do a lot of cool things by means of pure practical effects. Maybe Osborn can supply him with an upgrade to his animatronics collection
