We all knew that we'd be getting something in Feb.

It's not the MCU but at least they'll try to extend the lead up to S6 by swapping the dates

Emma Stone as MJ is a wonderful casting choice as well

Aw yeah most definitely.

According to Faraci, Harry will be a psuedo-love interest/antagonist in TASM3, so that's pretty out there.

Please stop messing with my feels

Harry Osborn gay in TASM 3?

Very suss

Looks like the sony lawyers are in full swing, things getting censored left and right

I thought of an idea for really a completely different direction for the Spider-Man series that could work really, really well.

Cancel TASM series, bring back Raimi but with a twist.

It's fair to say that Raimi's Spidey series isn't as popular as it once was. When you look at all the different superhero films, most of them focus on these upcoming epic battles. With Spidey, his greatest battles has always been personal ones or ones with his family.

So how can you breath new life into the Spidey series while not taking Peter away?

What if. They do a Spider-Girl film set within the Raimiverse? Have Mayday as the daughter of MJ and Peter. Have MJ and Peter married. Still have Peter as Spider-Man in a mentorish sort of way.

It's kind of like the Evil Dead in a way. Not a reboot. Set within the same universe as the original series but with a new breath of air so to speak.

I mean I think that a Spider-Girl film would work out well. You keeping the old generation who loved the Raimi series while passing the torch to a new generation with Mayday.

I really do think with all the superhero films you see, a Spider-Girl film set years after Spider-Man 3 (at least like 18), would be an interesting idea and a concept that none of the other studios are doing. Well I mean it is kind of like DOFP with Fox with the OG X-Men and the First Class group but still with a father/daughter thing it does feel fresh.

Raimi doesn't even have to direct it. Maybe be a producer and writer and have someone else direct it.

I know I probably mentioned a Mayday film before but still, I think concept wise, it's a good enough idea for Sony to consider.

No offense, but it's an awful idea. No one cares Spider-Girl.

Does anyone know what the hell is happening with this franchise? And I include Sony in that.
