God I wish we got Scorpion instead of Mysterio

Scorpion done right wouldn't work here, I don't think. Him being tied to J. Jonah Jameson is pretty important, and pulling JJJ out of their butts next time to do all that would be dumb. Only if JJJ is already established and we understand the dynamic between Spidey and JJJ. Of course, they could just make up some new backstory that wouldn't be as interesting as the great one that's already there in the comics.
