But we've heard quite a bit about the spinoffs, and nothing post delay from Webb. Strange that we haven't heard from the architect of the universe.



I'm going to cut you of here because neither I nor I SEE SPIDEY said anything about Garfield. I've got to give you credit for the impressive use of the Chewbacca Defense.

Maybe you should read my post again. I made an observation which supports speculation. It's hardly wild speculation that a director of a franchise might be replaced after a disappointing performance. His silence in regard to the current planned future of the franchise adds fuel to the fire.

This clearly isn't mac webbs franchise this is sonys franchise, do you really think they run past their decisions with him? I doubt it, and The director of the sinister 6 hasn't said anything about that movie either and that's coming out in a years time, so it's not as strange as you might think since we are 4 years away and is there anything to say yet as I think its obvious there has been a change of Plan in terms of what happens next, not that I think there was ever a solid plan in the first place

And I never said you said anything about garfield I just said same thing could and has been said for Garfield if it wasn't for the fact he as asked in an interview there would still be some still speculating he would be replaced

I mean we will cut this convo off here and just stick to our own views on the subject

Why? He co-produced Alias and was a writer for both Buffy and Alias.

I meant as director but yes, he should be the producer. I fact drew Goddard should be the producer of the spiderman franchise that way the franchise will be more successful

**** no. I don't see kurtzman handling the third movie and if he does handle the amazing spiderman 3 the franchise will completely die as well as Sony. It's a great idea to hire drew Goddard for TASM 3
