Romita jr physically but I'm talking about personality. You think he acts like the romita era as in the start where Peter starts being confident and so on?

Oh man, I can't answer that specific question. It's been a while since I have not read a Spidey comic-book drawn by Romita Jr.

Didn't knew that guy. He kinda look like Logan Lerman ... But unlike Logan, I never saw him act. He's in the Teen Wolf tv show, so I could take a look, but it's not my type of tv serie (too much for young teenager imo).
Is he a good actor ?

Anyway, physicaly, he can play Peter Parker :cwink: we can add him on the list OriginalMiles :oldrazz:!

He really wants to play Spider-Man some day, apparently. I've seen him Teen Wolf and he's pretty good. If you're interested in checking him out in a movie though, I think your best bet would be to watch Maze Runner, which comes out later on this year. If he's good in that, he could handle a Spider-Man movie.

If Marvel had Spider-Man and if they decided to make Spider-Man a netflix show, he's the optimal choice, imo.

Yeah, I love andrew garfield but Dylan would definitely make a great spiderman

Looks like I'll watch Maze Runner to see what you mean :yay:.

It's strange because last mounth I was thinking about this too.
One day Spider-Man rights will go back to MARVEL.
But do you think they'll wait before reboot, or continue with the base created by Marc Webb and SONY, or create another Spidey (like the Incredible Hulk) ... or decide to make a Netflix show ??
I mean, everything is possible now!
Personally I would like them to consider TASM films as part of the MCU ...

Hmm... while it would be nice for them to continue the TASM verse, I think they should do a soft reboot... like, the TASM movies won't be canon, but the GA could consider them to be so. (So, like The Incredible Hulk, yes!)

Anyone here hope for scott Adkins to play as KRAVEN and more well written and true to KRAVEN? I also think that Scott can teach andrew some new tricks since it would be a good idea for some practical fights

What films have you seen Scott Adkins in?

Knight... do you just pull random names out of your ***? :funny:

(I'm kidding)

Really Tobey Maguire ? You see that's one of the problem I have with the first trilogy. I can't see Peter Parker in Tobey Maguire, nor in the acting, nor in the look ...

Me too! The first time I saw pictures from TASM 1 with Andrew, I was like "Who is this guy? ... Oh nevermind, this franchise needs a fresh reboot. Wait and see.".
Then I watched The social network in cinema. First time I saw Andrew on screen. PERFECT!
He's a talented actor (have you watched BOY A ?) but, but he also look like the character!

Yes, he was considered for Spider-Man 2, in 2003, because Tobey Maguire injured his back while filming "Seabiscuit".

:oldrazz:

Well, at least the Peter Parker before turning into Spider-Man. I thought he was perfect but then they just dragged the initial identity way too long. By SM3 I didn't even recognize him anymore.

Then that brings me to Garfield because I think he's the perfect fit for Spider-Man behind the mask. I literally feel like I'm watching pages from the comic books onscreen when I'm watching him as Spider-Man in TASM1 and TASM2.

I feel like at the end of the day, that's what is keeping me still interested in this series; also how they're going to deal with Emma's absence moving forward.

I too remember watching The Social Network and also how badly I felt he was cheated in that film. He was great and I recall telling my brother we'll be seeing him in a lot of films in the future, kind of how I feel about Dane DeHaan at the moment.

As far as Boy A, no, I have not seen that; do you recommend it? However, I can tell you that I'm really looking forward to 99 Homes.

I still don't know how I never heard about his injury up until now :funny:

99 Holmes is getting positive reviews and I hope the writer for that movie writers for the amazing spiderman 3 and is also a spiderman fan.

Yeah, let's just start hoping all great directors and writers are Spider-Man fans.

Indeed and let's hope they hire great casts and be true to the characters instead of ****ing them up like max dillon and editing them out into uselessness like the lizard

I agree with this all the way

anyone here agree with me that scott adkins would make an incredible kraven? i really don't see the appeal of gerard butler for kraven. from what i've seen of him in 300 he really doesn't scream kraven at all.

I was a big fan of The Amazing Spider-man 2, but I can definitely see and admit its flaws. However, after being an even BIGGER fan of The Amazing Spider-man, it pained me that Webb and Sony didn't stick to their guns and keep the more urban tone of the first film in tact, instead opting for the more candy-colored tone in the second film. I loved The Amazing Spider-man's look and tone. I even loved the suit. If they gave the suit from the first film bigger eyes -- perfection.

I just hope that the eventual third film will find a nice balance between the candy-colored, comic-book tone of The Amazing Spider-man 2 and the urban, realistic, grittier tone of The Amazing Spider-man.

I have to agree I think there was nothing wrong with the tone of TASM, It just needed to find its footing in terms of comic book fantasy, grit and ground but I think Sony chickened out of doing something different after the avengers came out

Even more so when you think they actually hired the transformers/Star Trek writers who I can't say come across as grounded writers, so you can see where they were going really

Yeah hiring Alex kurtzman and Roberto orci were a frigging big mistake especially when you have to look at the honest trailers and cinema sins. Let's talk about some great writers who can handle the third movie. I think that the writer of the red riding trilogy can handle the third film. Any writers from great tv shows and movies you guys have in mind?

Ahhh Knight....why don't you talk with Sony to write the next movies yourself? :woot:

I would but I haven't gotten by writing certificate yet :D

anyway, any writers you guys would like to write for TASM 3?

I also heard rumors that KRAVEN would appear in TASM 3 as the main villain. It's great because KRAVEN works best as a solo villain first and I hope they do him justice unlike max dillon. Heck, Scott Adkins would make a great KRAVEN. I don't understand that appeal of Gerard butler
