My hope for TASM 3 is that they listen wholeheartedly to fans this time, TASM 2 and SM3 didn't work in my opinion because they took fan suggestions and twisted them up too much. I hope it doesn't happen a third time, many fans have great suggestions that would work, but they are never viewed by filmmakers as applicable.

Then I heard that he was considered to play Peter Parker in Spider-Man 2.

He's a great actor. He still looks very young, but I agree with he looks the part.

And it's funny you say that because that's what I thought when I saw James McAvoy for the first time in Wanted. I think he looks the closest to Peter Parker from any actor I am currently aware of, outside of Tobey Maguire.

I originally didn't think Garfield looked like he would be a good fit but he really grew on me after TASM1, and now I'm a bigger fan after TASM2 (despite the criticisms).

Really Tobey Maguire ? You see that's one of the problem I have with the first trilogy. I can't see Peter Parker in Tobey Maguire, nor in the acting, nor in the look ...

Me too! The first time I saw pictures from TASM 1 with Andrew, I was like "Who is this guy? ... Oh nevermind, this franchise needs a fresh reboot. Wait and see.".
Then I watched The social network in cinema. First time I saw Andrew on screen. PERFECT!
He's a talented actor (have you watched BOY A ?) but, but he also look like the character!

Yes, he was considered for Spider-Man 2, in 2003, because Tobey Maguire injured his back while filming "Seabiscuit".

Didn't knew that guy. He kinda look like Logan Lerman ... But unlike Logan, I never saw him act. He's in the Teen Wolf tv show, so I could take a look, but it's not my type of tv serie (too much for young teenager imo).
Is he a good actor ?
