I love Sally and Martin in that interview above! They're great.

^ Absolutely amazing preview! And I don't say stuff like that lightly. No ****ing way this film is bad, in any way. It looks so damn good. Everything about it just feels so strong and powerful.

The problems have to be with the pacing or that the stuff in between what we have seen is boring. Or maybe people aren't ok with when Ben dies or how Peter gets his powers. I'll admit, I am not excited about all things about the movie, but because what we have seen is really good for the most part, I am assuming one of those things is whats wrong with the film.

Agreed!

I'm thinking the grounded tone might also be a problem. Even if it tries to be a fun and fantastical spectacle, I think it will remain very tonally subdued throughout the film. So in a way, it might not be as fun feeling as the previous films.

Hmm. This could also be true. I always thought that having it grounded would be better for the movie, as it would make things more relatable.

I never found the previous films 'fun' lol. But I get what you're saying.

This 'grounded' approach has me very excited to see spidey in this way. That carkjacker clip showed quite a dark tone. But I still felt it was spiderman. Here's hoping the film gives me, and everyone, that feeling throughout.

I wonder where that piece of Peter swinging in daylight, in front of what looks to be six-flags-magic-mountain, falls into the movie?

Its probably when he is truly testing out his web shooters for the first time!

Haha. That part in the clip with the car-jacker, where the car thief says, "This isn't funny!", and Garfield turns around clapping and laughing, responding - "It IS kinda funny!"

Looooooooool! It's so great.

Thanks bud! I've been looking all over for it on YouTube. Really wanted to watch it again!

Anyone else kind of surprised how that scene plays out? Not what I had in mind.

Scene I think I'm looking most forward to in this is when Spider-man gets caught for a bit, and seeing him flat on the ground in that featurette just made it more awesome.

I am curious how his spider sense isn't going nuts with the Lizard clinging just a few feet right over his head in the sewer? I'm hoping they didn't give him the same spider sense as in Ultimate where he can't predict from what direction a threat is coming from.
