Superman has no hyphen
Read Golden Age Superman, he's so awesome there

Mine will always be Batman....I just like the fact that he's more human than any other big-named superhero
I'm into superheroes for superpowers lol, but Batman has a great personality and stuff

To me, some of the biggest assets Batman and Spider-Man have in common are great supporting casts and rogues galleries.

Batman is interesting to me because he's obsessed with fighting crime and protecting the innocent and doing it to the very best of his ability, and he approaches it in a very analytical, strategic, and tactical way, much like a general in war.

Spider-Man is the everyman given superpowers by accident that tries to use them for good.

Superman is underrated, IMO.

I don't think he is.

Hell, we probably wouldn't even have have of the superheroes/comics we have today if it wasn't for him.

Not to mention the various awards the character has won over the years... including being named as the greatest comic book character of all time.

I never really cared for Superman tbh.

Bats and Spidey are the one and only for me. :D

Superman either ties with or is a close second to Batman/Spider-Man. The character himself is great, but his rogues gallery doesn't really stack up against those of either Bats or Spidey, in my opinion.

I like flawed heroes. Superman always seemed too perfect and had things (life) all figured out.

Personally, I think something that makes Superman interesting is that he's the ultimate role model by choice, and everything he does will be scrutinized by that standard.

He's very faulty, he's a big fat liar, just like every other masked hero
Plus the dude is weak to glowing rocks, I don't find that perfection

A german movie site claims this to be a new official still

but it seems to me like one of the early set-pics of Emma!?

It's definitely one of the early set pics. Haven't seen that particular shot before, so kudos for finding something new :woot:

Same for me, at least Peter Parker, I don't care about Miles

We don't speak of Miles.

Lol..."great personality?" Are you breaking up with Batman or what? Hahaha.

I myself am more interested with the heroes with no powers, but yet they can achieve these great feats and defeat these villains on a day-to-day basis. Batman, Green Arrow, Punisher, Rorschach, The Comedian, Nite Owl...as you can see, I'm a huge Watchmen fan as well, haha. But I think a regular guy fighting crime is far more entertaining than a god or a gene-altered superpowered hero.

Now, of course I like Spider-Man and Superman, but I will always prefer the "regular guy".

Superman is underrated, IMO.

I think that's more or less because of his usage cinematically. Since Superman II, we have had nothing worthwhile for a long, long time. There was Lois and Clark which was great, and then the first couple of seasons of Smallville, but that's about it. And then Superman Returns showed up and was as bad as Superman III.

I think he'll finally get his due when Man of Steel comes up.

Well, Supes also has a great supporting cast and a great rogue gallery. Pretty much why those three are my favorite; I can't think of any other hero besides those three with such an amazing rogue gallery.

I didn't understand that until I re-watched Justice League. Watching that, you can definitely tell he is the way he is by choice and he's as conflicted as anyone but always chooses his angel over his demon and when he DOES choose the demon or even think about it, ironically its Batman who snaps him out of it and plays as his moral compass. Of course, Action Comics is currently about a younger, much more brash superman and I love it actually. I'll go with Spider-man and Batman as my favorites but I definitely don't dislike superman as a character the way I used to and I suppose a lot of that has to do with Bruce Timm
