I think we'll get one attached to that Amazing Spider-Man movie coming out on July 3rd.

That just makes sense. If they weren't going to release it with one of the bigger Christmas releases, they aren't going to waste it on a none Marvel Studio/Knights film for a Screen Gems picture. They'll use this as a way to get butts in the seats for their own flick...

Life would really suck if we wait until March or even April. Hell, in April, I'll be getting my self in preparation for the release. April should be when the tv spots start.

If they wait that long then they would have reached Green Lantern marketing and all hopes for the movie even being a moderate success would be gone.

They trailer will definitely hit with Underworld. We had someone confirm with a theater that a trailer for TASM would hit with Underworld on the 20th of this month.

Yeah. I'm expectingthe trailer to consist mainly of the footage the was shown at SDCC seeing as how that footage has had all of the effects completed.

Based off what? Marketing only helps visibility and the boost of opening weekend. It can only carry you so far. If the film is well received, they will be fine. To compare, Avatar had its first publicly released footage only four months before release. How well did that do again?

People need to stop worry about how early these films get pushed. As long as there is a sufficient marketing blitz within a month of the release window, audiences will flock to it if it looks interesting.
