Hahaha I was about to say "Um....the camera is pointing AT him..."

If thats the real deal,I think its AWESOME,the films gonna rock.
But I seriously doubt it is the real script, where does the OSCORP tower fight and the Bridge fight figure in all this?

If it is real, it's a very early version.

That's the thing, it's a very early version. Ratha (Irfan Khan's character) is called Van Adder. Peter's parents are spies, etc.

Or...

It's fake.

Yup. They are also planning for reshoots including getting back JGL as Cobra commander and making the movie into 3D.

All this after the posters and merch. was already released this year.

To be fair, this year's Summer is too much crowded.
Yeah, I'm kind of surprised. Especially since we seen the trailers, merchandises, etc.

I figured out the whole how he got his powers thing.

1.Richard was working with Radioactive archnids
2.He got infected by the Radioactive substances/Spiders(like Marie Curie) and it has a change on his genome
3.Peter is born and this mutation passes on to him
4.Peter is bit which activates the mutation
5.He gets his powers

Don't think so.

I think so too,I searched the link on google and the script was reported all the way back in December 2010.They must have made several changes after that initial script

I doubt this is the case.

I have no idea where these theories are coming from, the shot of Richard's board in the trailer/s?

Peter's powers aren't something that were passed down from his father, he wasn't experimented on, he wasn't exposed to radiation from going into the spider room, his powers aren't activated by the spider bite, or anything like that.

Peter gets bitten by a radiated spider and gets powers. That's it.

"An irradiated spider bit him when he got too close, and overnight Parker had undergone a metamorphosis, gaining strength, speed and agility."

This would have been worded very differently if the spider activated his powers instead of giving him powers.

Glad we finally have a clear, mostly unobstructed still of him from the film itself. I was getting tired of the shoddy promo art.

This would have been worded differently if the spider simply activated his powers.

I don't get where the whole Ang Lee's Hulk theory of Peter's dad experimenting on him or passing something down came from. I think Ratha's line about Peter not being an accident is being taken a liiiitttle too literally.

Richard was clearly doing some sort of research regarding spiders, yes, but I really don't think he'd be experimenting on his own son. He may be very passionate and involved with his work but he's not crazy.

There is a clear cut difference betwen experimenting on his son and passing the mutation to his son which he acquired due to the risky nature of his work

The 2nd could be the case.
The 1st one can NEVER be the case,You simply cannot incorporate something on a kid like, especially powers.Gene therapy would take thousands of years before it gets that advanced

How do you explain the 'Accident' statement then?

How do you explain the 'Accident' statement then?

I just think that statement is being taken too literally. That line could have something to do with the fact that Peter's bitten by a spider that was worked on by Peter's dad/bitten by a spider that had a formula used on it that was made by Peter's dad. The accident line could also be taken out of context, which happens all the time in trailers.

If Richard's dad passed something down to Peter, that would still be an accident. Which invalidates your argument.

Does the Lizard still look too human for some people?

He looks so damn creepy here, I love his look. I really hope they release a theatrical poster with him and Spidey going at it.

Jesus Christ, that scared the hell out of me when I was scrolling down :funny:

It's not bad, but it looks a little too much like Killer Croc from Batman, though...

And are we all 100% sure that Peter's dad doesn't begin work on the spider/formula after Peter's born?

This new shot of the Lizard is GREAT. Where'd it come from?

The Lizard looks horrid... in a good way. He really gives the idea of an abomination, something unhealthy that should have never existed.

does anybody else have the problem that the pages are not loading? i have to refresh a few times before it doesnt give me an error. been happening the last few days now..
