I love the new clips for one reason...SPIDEY IS ACTUALLY A WISEASS.
I love the Raimi movies (mostly), but FINALLY.
Amen, man, Amen

I simply love that clip. "I'm swinging here, I'm swinging here!" lol
It's totally something I'd shout if I could swing like that.
No they are mostly white/opaque
I think people who are still expecting this to be dark and gritty are you in for disappointment. Marc Webb straight out stated they weren't going for dark last year at Comic-con. They were going for grounded, funny and whimsical yet no one seemed to believe him.
No they are yellow tinted...you are confused due to all the night shots of spidey toning the yellow down...No they are mostly white/opaque
I really like the clip, but the music still feels a bit off to me.
Also, wtf is going on with backwards Spidey?? :S
EDIT: Capt. Stacy is awesome in this haha!
Money is no excuse,SM3 cost almost 50ME more than this movie
Yet almost everybody is sure this will turn out better than that
The music fits perfectly, maybe it's because you guys were expecting something darker, but within the context of the clip, him discovering his powers, experimenting with those, it fits perfectly.
I agree. It's supposed to be positive, to be the birth of the web swinging.![]()
Yeah, I mean, if your lead character is swinging through city and it's supposed to be joyous and he's screaming at the top of his lungs proclaiming his joy, why on earth would you bit dark brooding music behind that?
Because it's supposed to be copying Batman. Amazing isn't it? Before it wasn't supposed to be dark. Now that it's actually joyous, it's weird.
Score accompanying it was crap, unfortunately. Sounded like a cheap early 90s family film.
I don't mind the soundtrack. I think it sounds great. We really don't need to compare this to Hans Zimmer's Batman score. Their scores both great in their own right, and both match what their respective movies need in terms of tone and whatnot.
So...should I watch this clip? I don't really want to, as I'd rather wait now until the movie itself releases and watch it in all it's glory. If it's not anything spoilery though I will be enticed. lol
Now that I think about it. The score for that scene reminds me of The Might Ducks movies, those whacky moments when the kids are just learning to skate and stuff.
