Same!Can't wait for tomorrow!

Well in the comics Spidey can gripe through fabric...not shoes. So barefoot is not necessary.
t:The reason I bring it up is in the comics, when peter is running around outside of costume, he ties his shoes together and swings them around his neck so that he can stick to stuff with his feet. I have several comics where he does this...but stupid google images doesn't appear to have any
In any case, it's true that when you have super strength you could get away with climbing with just your fingers, but if he ever needs to just stand on his feet and free his hands...then it becomes a problem.
And I already addressed the Raimi films as suspending more disbelieve for the sake of just a fun movie than how it would appear they are doing things with The Amazing Spider-Man.
It's one of the reasons I am liking the idea of TAS more than the Raimi universe. But it's still a movie about a very fictional idea and therefore there will be certain things that aren't explained. It would be nice to know exactly how he can do the "stick-um" stuff whilst wearing shoes however like you say, it's not a decapitation move to the head of the movie if there's none.
Yeah, true. But foir all be know, the new shoes might actually be thin soled. The bottoms of the sneakers are flat and smooth (with the exception of the track spikes) unlike most sneakers, They could just have the appearance of being thick soled.b
