Yeah. I remember that.

But yeah, he's too much of a nice guy to fight someone. I think it would take something really serious to make him violent.

Like maybe touching Emma's ass but I'm not sure If that would do it.

Hard to say. He doesn't seem like a fighter, but messing with his girlfriend might just do it.

It really is 45 seconds

Indeed it was. I'm not just *****ing about that scene because it was actually that length.

Any reason why Jane was in totally ***** mode in SM3?

She progressively got worse throughout the three films. Why Peter wanted to stay with her, I had no idea. Besides, Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy was WAY sexier. I would've gone with her in the end.

I would love for Andrew to get Punk'd.

I miss that show. Ashton Kutcher needs to quit Two and a Half Men and start up Punk'd again. I loved the ones with Hugh Jackman and Elijah Wood.

It'd be interesting to see Andrew on Punk'd. There are a lot of celebrities nowadays that I wish had been around when the show was still on.

They're actually bringing back Punk'd. This time, a different celebrity punks a celeb of their choosing every week.

...wut...

Thursday as in this week?! Man, why haven't I heard about this until now.

Off topic, but remember the episode of TSSM when they ask Aunt May if Peter's Spider-Man and she thought she was being punk'd? Although I've never seen Punk'd, I lol'd.

Well, that settles it. I NEED to see Emma punk Andrew, or vice versa.

I read someone on Nolanfans comparing David Tennant and Andrew Garfield and how they both simply wanted to do their best to represent the character.

Best comparison ever.

I'd suggest Garfield for the next Doctor if not for TASM and the fact he appeared as a minor guest character during the Tennant era.

i think Garfield would make a great doctor who....but so far hes looking to be awesome in TASM. Maybe when garfield is older...who knows....

Like is said, not EVERYTHING is Raimi's fault. you guys act like he completely ruined Spider-Man, and at least he knew he made mistakes and was going to try and fix things with 4 until Sony started effing everything up.

I don't know if this was ever posted before but this is an actual statement made by Raimi himself:

"I've learned a lot of lessons about what people didn't like and missteps that I'd made. I made a lot of mistakes and it's part of the reason I so want to make this next story of Peter Parker. I really think I know in my heart who the character is. I would like one more chance at him".

Also please don't label me as a Raimi fanboy. I like Raimi, but I know he made mistakes. It's just i feel waaaay too much blame is placed on him. Not EVERYTHING was his fault. Some people here act like they want to see him stoned to death -.-

I was all for Raimi and co. to give it another go and redeem themselves in the fourth installment. I was initially pissed that it didn't work out between he and Sony, but my anger has slowly faded over time and now I'm looking forward to the Webb production. I think that Raimi could have done another film justice and prove that SM2 was no fluke but unfortunately it's not gonna happen. We could spend time being miserable about that or having negative thoughts but why do that when it's totally beyond our control.

Isn't a Doctor Who movie in the works? He could do that if they decide to get someone new for it.

Yeah there is but Stephen Moffat, the showrunner, already said that the current TV Doctor (at the time it films) would be in the movie.

No he wouldn't. There's a video out there of Andrew and Emma walking around being bugged by a paparazzo and Andrew was nothing but nice to him, even introducing himself (the pap continued acting like a total asshat though).

Not like Maguire & his freak out. "MOVE DA F*** OUT OF DA WAY! THERE'S CARS THERE MOTHER F****ERS!" ;7

Honestly, SM3 wasn't that bad. And SM1 and SM2 were both very good movies. However, the reason I was never saddened that they didn't give Raimi another shot was because I don't think he ever understood the Peter Parker I wanted to see. I was actually more disappointed in SM2 in theaters then I was with SM3. A big problem with SM3 was the massive amount of hype surrounding it. Mass disappointment can turn fans ugly, and that's what happened.

However, I didn't really have high expectations for SM3, because I knew Raimi wasn't going to show the Spider-man that I wanted to see. SM2 was a very good movie, but I've never looked at it as a great Spider-man movie, if that makes any sense.

When compared to the first two Spidey movies, yes, SM3 really is that bad. Compared to some of the more wretched films from the CBM realm, no, it's not that bad. I do understand the criticism that Raimi never really presented the Spider-man character that I think many of us wanted to see and what seems to be taking place with Webb and co. However, it was Raimi's universe and SM2 is still a great movie. Raimi did a pretty good job of showing how difficult it was to be PP. I mean, there was that familiar Raimi cheese melted all over it, but he did it effectively enough.

SM3 was a major disappointment. Hype nonetheless, the movie failed on so many levels. I would have been ok with the fact that it did not top SM2 but it at least should have been a better movie than SM1.
