spida-man, what you're not getting is that the material on the actual movie's suit is a different shine entirely. THIS suit has the shine of a PVC-like material. The movie's suit does not. THAT'S the issue, THAT'S why there's jokes about it looking like it was made from a trash bag.

But I will admit...

yeah, the guy seems skinny enough to pull it off, the suit looks great but the shoes and the leg stripes are gone, the shoes (Acics , i think)can be bought and adapted to the boot

in terms of the suit i think the issue is he had to get it tailored and they might have causes the stripes to disappear idk what the story is, cause all the other suits i've seen HAVE the stripe so it should be there.

and I don't own it YET I'm in talks with a guy who works for the company to see about purchasing it ASAP

i understand but what i was just trying to say is complaining about the shine of the costume u CAN buy is kinda pointless since it obviously isn't gonna have the EXACT shame shine to it as a multiple thousands of dollars movie suit.

also looking at an actual plastic bag it doesn't have the same shine as the suit u can buy lol. but whatevs

Ergh. I'd probably use the silver ones and put them into the sleeve. The blue ones by themselves on the outside look like ****, I guess you could get away with putting them in the sleeve as well but I think I'd prefer the silver ones.

speaking of the suit alot of people making custom suits have used puff paint to create the 3d raised effect look of the texture but when u look closely at the suit in the movie its idk how to explain it but its just a texture print that LOOKS raised.

best example i can give of this is the scene where Spidey gets tazzered and gets handcuffed, pay close attention to the close up shots of him and look at the suit and the way the lighting reflects off of it, the texture is really a flat pattern but some how it LOOKS raised

Yeah those guys on the RPF have made some amazing suits. It's amazing what a little bit of puff paint can do to the finished product.

It's actually raised. Just not as high as it looks.

God I get that, it's just about how it looks in those shots. It looks like it's made from a plastic bag in the promo picture, Christ. I know a $100-300 suit isn't going to look like a suit that cost thousands.

Oh Jesus Christ... I want this so much.

I was talking to my friends about a year ago about how they could use the digital readout on the webshooters as a digital clock, I'm very pleased to see they actually made this!

So much want.

The guy who put these up said that Sega won't be making these anymore... and they were only going to be sold in Japan anyways.



Why they thought this wouldn't sell anywhere else is beyond me...
