I said there Brainiac and Luthor could function as the same character if he was disguised in a human form and didn't like the costume ideas for Superman.

Peter doesn't have to be a stereotypical gay with a sleered voice and all, it's as casual as any other romance. It could even work that Pete is dealing with secrecy that most couples have to endure and cannot tell Harry what happened to his father, let alone what he did. Harry could also always be wondering why his boyfriend seems to always be taking off without him and being inconsistent. It could create a major strain on their relationship.

That's just a bad idea. People jump to the conclusion that superheroes have a homosexual subtext because of their secret identities, and I am going to tell you that's a load of crap. A secret identity is far from exclusive to the gay community, as there are plenty of reasons to keep secrets.

Stop trolling with the Peter being gay idea. No one is liking it except you.

Agreed.

I understand about the Joker, but I never felt it was the same with Green Goblin or the rest of the arch-enemies like Loki, Redskull, etc. Even Venom, just feels like hype to me.
I was right now reading Avengers 1 and Thor said this:
"This is Loki, my archenemy! It was he who planned the train wreck"
So yeah, Loki's Thor's archenemy, and before i began reading comics and liking like i do today i had a vague idea that Loki was Thor's arch enemy (probably because he was already that even in the legends) and Red Skull being Cap's arch enemy too.
With spider-man, before i saw the movie i only remembered of a villain with 4 tentacled (Dock Ock) but he is with Green Goblin and Venom spider-man's arch enemies

Sorry, I dosed off during reading that, Thor always puts me to sleep. I'm awake now.

OK, sorry this isn't even a Thor thread:woot:

I know Loki is Thor's archenemy and Red Skull is Cap's archenemy. That's not exactly what I meant. But lets talk about your idea for the Chameleon.

Agreed.

I'm not saying there is a homosexual subtext at all.

I'm just saying it would be an interesting take on the character. Why not do a special edition and simply do a little exploring with the story. They just did with the new half Hispanic and Black Spider-Man and before therer has been the the clone saga, Spider-Girl, Spider-man from another dimension, Spider-Man from 2200. Why not a gay Spider-Man? That's more down to earth than much of the rest has been.

How would changing the character's sexual orientation be interesting at all?

It's sort of a what-if scenario, it could add to the motivation that Peter has for not wanting to have a serious relationship while being a hero, it also might add to his inability to get girls and maintain relationships. It also adds to him thinking he is not as normal as everyone else anyway. It all makes a more in-depth stronger story.

Hey, if it's in a comic, then great for them. I don't care since I don't read comics anyways. But no gay Peter Parker in the movies please.

But hey, if you're pulling for a gay shtick, then I want Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson to be in a lesbian relationship.

It could see the Black Cat and another girl get into a lesbian relationship, but I don't know which other character would be right for her.

Gosh dang I was kidding.

Just stop...stop listening to Lady Gaga and creating these weird-ass fantasies, quit your run on heroin, go outside and get some sun.

This I might be okay with. :awesome:

Uncle Ben should've cheated on Aunt May and had a gay lovers relationship with JJJ.
