the silver parts on the boots are on the CGI spiderman from the trailer. so its in the movie.

Oh, dammit, that's right.

I HATE YOU, SNEEKERS!! :argh:

Would it be too hopeful to say they changed it...? Yeah? OK....

While I know that it'd be silly to do this, and they won't.

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do a quick palette swap for the shoes. Especially if it's CGI footage we're talking about.

If the main character is in front of a background with a solid colour, it makes it very easy to remove in Photoshop, or another image editing programme.

Maybe so, but I'd still love to see promo pics in a natural setting, like that awesome Patrick Brown art in the fanart thread.

My attempt at removing the watermark (first time I've ever tried doing something like that, sorry it's not very good.)

Thanks. The stripe on his knee is too complicated to do for me atm, but the guy who released these images says he's putting up the pics without the watermark in a couple of days after most of the major news sites post it with his watermark.

If he didn't take the pics himself, he shouldn't be hogging it with his watermark to begin with.

This is what he said on his blog:

WHY ARE THE PHOTOS watermark? Some of you are wondering the reason for this decision. Honestly, I do not need to have to explain but I will do likewise. Spanish portals usually do not give exclusive product and less Hollywood . When something like this, and in my case is the second time I do more than 8 years of working with this website, everyone echoes the images. I unmarked them be great, I will once it is past the hype of the news day or two, but now it annoys me most are those sites that steal them and put them without conceding a pyrrhic link the original source. This came with the famous images of The Dark Knight Joker . That day I put them, many bonded, but others called me a big handful took the photos and holy Easter ... that total quote if nothing happens. The truth, happens. This time and despite some criticism that I am getting rather leave marks, which are distributed the images over the network, especially in doorways made in USA, and then remove ...

Really? Link? =O

Oh and now that it's basically confirmed that the eyes are gold, based on multiple images of him with gold eyes, what do you guys think about it? I really like it, it looks more.....bug-like.

We know that POV scene is in the movie? Wouldn't be the first time a sequence was created just for a trailer. Either way, the silver has been used officially, so it probably doesn't matter.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I like them. :D

At first, I thought they were a little odd because I'm used to seeing Spidey with white/silvery eyes... but I really like these now. I love the mesh texture of the eyes too.

Yes.

I like them, but that isn't confirmed.

Reflective there.

And there.

And it just so happens that the only still (that we know of) from the actual movie has reflective lenses.

I think the eyes are reflective with a gold tint. I think the reason why they're gold in these promo pics is because he's surrounded by darkness, and making the eyes reflective in them would make the eyes look weird.

Urm... what? They're reflective and gold/yellow in the trailer too. Hell, they're yellow in that scan you posted. :S

They seem to switch between silver reflective, and goldish mesh reflective.

Weird. Guess we won't know until the movie/someone who saw the footage lets us know.

Though they are fully reflective in that first image I posted.

Also there's that shot of Spidey over the open manhole cover (which seems to have disappeared from the Official Pictures thread >_>) where they're a gold, non-reflective mesh.

Well, the next trailer should confirm it.

I'd still like it if they switched between gold mesh reflective, and completely reflective in the movie. I imagine the completely reflective lenses look better at night.
