C. Lee, if were discussing the prior Spider-Man films in terms that relate to the new film, is that acceptable? I mean, comparisons are bound to happen. I can see infracting as a solution if things get out of hand but if we're civil it's okay right?

It reeks of abuse to thing that we can't discuss A or B movie if what we're discussing about it is relevant to this new movie.

If you have problems with something someone says, deal with it on a case-by-case basis, don't stablish a censorship rule that does little to benefit positive discussion...

Agreed. Recently it just seems like the mods are showing up at completely the wrong time.

- Having a positive discussion whilst mentioning the previous trilogy... mods come in and silence everyone

- Flame wars taking place featuring anti/pro-Raimi posters... mods show up hours later, if they even do

well if we can only talk about ASM I will say that the most important thing for me is that it is a good engaging movie. obviously I want it to do well at the box office but most importantly I want a great movie. put it this way I would rather a 9/10 movie that makes 600m world wide than a 7/10 movie that makes 1B world wide (sony would obviously prefer that latter t

great movie + enough bank for a sequel = very happy spider-neil

For starters this is the News, videos and set pictures thread so any discussing of the Raimi series doesn't belong here. Whether positive or negative.

C.Lee did his job and was in his complete right as a moderator to intervene as it was purely just venting in regards to Spider-Man 3 which has nothing to do with the threads topic.

The conversation was anything but positive and the furthest it could be from using the past films in an objective manner.

Trying to paint C.Lee as being unfair is uncalled for seeing as what he did was completely within his right.

This thread is for talking about the set pictures, videos, and news for the NEW movie THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. There is no reason for anyone to spend their time complaining about Raimi's movie in here.

You can discuss that subject in it's proper thread and let the people whop come to the set pics, videos, and news for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN movie come in here and look at and read things pertaining to the set pics, videos, and news about THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN movie.

There was no positive discussion for the last two pages about set pics, videos, and news on THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN movie....all there were for the last two pages was complaining about Raimi's SPIDER-MAN 3.
