Shocker would be nice. But as of right now I don't see him fitting into the plot. Although he could just be a bank robber.

Would be cool if, like B:AC, some of the side missions included rogues' gallery villain specific missions.

So today my Game Informer came in and honestly I wasn't psyched before I read the article. Here's some tidbits

-You might want to wait to play the game after seeing the movie. While the game does take place after the film, it reveals some key parts of the films finale.
-There will be several comic books to collect throughout the city, that can then be read on the disc.(This is awesome. I've been waiting for this to come back since Enter Electro.)
-There will be interior levels. The first part of the game is Peter Parker visiting Oscorp and here you'll see several of the experiments taking place.(Rhino,Vermin,Iguana and Scorpia were mentioned.) During this scene a breakout ensues.
-After this level is when the Free Roam begins. You'll be able to stop muggings, bank robberies and car thefts. Civilians will react to you by asking for autographs and Taking pictures with their cell phones. As the story progresses they'll shout about different things you've been involved in.
-There are two different upgrade systems. One for combat and the other for tech(including web shooters.)
-The combat is similar to the Arkham series. One button for combat and one for dodging.
-Alistair Smythe is one of the main antagonists and creates several Different Spider Slayer models.

Sounds really good! I like the intro thing. It will be very fun to see Vermin and Scorpia. However, I'd rather see Scorpion than her, but oh well.

I hope there will be some more classic villains in the game!

Thanks for the info. Was this a hands-on preview? If so, did they note any positives that they liked and also any negatives?

About Scorpion, they wouldn't need to make him grow a tail and hard scin. They could do like in the 90's TAS where he gets some scorpion DNA but still has the suit and robotic tail.

The graphics look great in that Stan Web Rush screenshot.

I guess playing as Stan will be cool. I mean, it's gonna be funny to watch this 80 year old whooping ass on the streets of NYC. lol.

But honestly, all that doesn't mean a damn thing if the gameplay isn't good. We still have yet to see some unedited gameplay so, for me, this is just gee whiz crap. I'm still trying to remain positive about TASM cause everything we've heard so far sounds like it will be the Spider-man game we've all been waiting to have. But like I said, until I see the gameplay, this just ranks as a whatever.
