Spider-Man: Edge of Time - Part 2

I don't think Val was a terrible Bruce Wayne, it's not his fault Joel Schumacher sucks.

And jacobed did say the 'older 4' Batmen, so I don't think he's including Bale. Really, the casting in Batman Forever wasn't altogether terrible, I mean Jim Carrey for Riddler was great, Tommy Lee Jones wasn't necessarily bad and even Chris O'Donnell fit, for the 90's. It was just how it all came together.

The way I look at it, the original Batmovies were more like adaptations of the Adam West series whereas the Nolan films have more of the tone from the later comics.

I guess, but i still dont think Kilmer was very good. As either Bruce or Bats.

Well, when you by looks, I whole-heartedly agree. But there is something about Kilmer's voice that is just so...fitting for some many things. He sounds like such a cunning villain rather than a "mean" one. He sounds like one that has all the loop holes covered, (or so he thinks) and I prefer that.

All I'm saying is uncharted one is not A master pecie

In sd got about 77 rating from most reviewers to whats your point.

No game is a masterpiece.

But games like Arkham Asylum, the Assassin's Creed games and Uncharted are what developers should look to, and hope to strive for in terms of quality.

For the rush job that it was, I enjoyed Shattered Dimensions. But if developers churn out this crap annually, we're never going to get a memorable Spider-Man game.

That's my point.

What? Of course there are.
Uncharted 2 is one masterpiece.

I thought Kilmer was a much better Bruce than Keaton's. Not sure about his Batman, though.

And I thought Jim Carrey was a horrible Riddler. He simply didn't take it seriously, but then, Jones also really didn't, but that's probably on the script. It's hard to judge.

I define a masterpiece as a game without any flaws... but compared to the other crap that's on the market, it is a masterpiece.

With the crap that's plaguing the games market, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed and the Arkham series are masterpieces. But there's always room for improvement.

But I don't think our consoles can handle such levels of win. :woot:

Ah right. :funny:

So far from what I've seen, the graphics look very good. Has anybody played a demo or something yet?

It's a shame that Val went from Batman, Jim Morrison, and movies like Heat to where he is now. I heard he's kind of a pain in the ass to work with.

He was great in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Maybe Shane Black will find a part for him in Iron Man 3?

Weren't you the guy that recommended a PS2 game over a PS3 game?
I generally enjoy PS2 games the most

There is the chance it wasn't Schumacher's fault past the nipples, the studio wanted a mess as a child friendly thing

Aside from Metal Gear Solid, no game is a masterpiece

Thats not the point. He was trying(and failing) to make the point that there was no difference between a certain PS2 game versus the same title on the PS3/360. Its just ignorance.

LOL, Val Kilmer sort of slumming it with acting roles these days. I mean . . . mostly making B movies these days. Might as well do video games and animation.

Oh, my bad. Sorry. I'll just take down this Nathan Drake altar and replace it with a Solid Snake Buddha idol.

Well look, to be fair, I watched a lot of MGS on youtube and it was VERY good.

That vid with Val was cool IMO! The game actually looks very solid so far.

What I can say about last gen games up till 2007 is this, the majority were very fun, and you got your moneys worth. Now, as long as the game looks pretty, it doesn't matter if you only get a few hours out of it. -.-

Not saying all current gen games are like that, but a lot are.
