I could understand that, but why would you say it if you have a demo out there contradicting what you're saying. Wouldn't that sell less games?
Every company and business has one goal. And that is to make money (and yes, that even includes "non-profit" organizations). This is why all of Dee's interviews are filled with dynamic adjectives like "fantastic," "amazing," "spectacular," and "incredible," when describing everything from web-rush to the villains, the story, and Beenox's version of Manhattan. His sole purpose in all these interviews is to promote the game. Therefore, when put on the spot, he's going to give an answer that he believes will please the fans, even if there is proof to the contrary. He knows that gamers want a realistic web-swinging experience, but he also knows that if he says, "Oh, we went back to using cloud anchor points, like in the first movie game," he's gonna lose pre-order sales. So he gives a semi-BS answer like, "We found the perfect balance between realism and exciting gameplay," in an effort to downplay the fact that it's not necessarily as good as it could be. I'm not cutting him down -- everybody does it. You just have to learn to take what you hear with a grain of salt.

Oh I do, its just that I guess my perception of the game wouldn't change either way so why not just come out with it, but not everyone is like me so I can see why he does it. At least you can't change by holding up on the stick like the first Spider-Man game. I can't wait for this game anymore, the wait is killing me.

The Stan Lee gameplay was humorous. It would have been cooler had they given Stan his 'own' set of powers instead of just using Spideys. Then again, had they spent more time on Stan's gameplay it would have taken away from the overall production of the actual game. It would be nice if this comes available as DLC later on after the release date.

The Cap game was actually pretty fun IMHO. It was a Batman AC/AA ripoff but it was done decent.

Yea I need to go through the Cap game again. I enjoyed it. Smacking dudes across the head with the shield made such a satisfying sound

I too liked the Cap game. The Batman combat fits Cap very well they even improved on it in ways AC didn't even do. Counter while doing a ground takedown I'm looking at you. Everything with the shield is just so satisfying

The Cap game was pretty good IMO, probably the best SEGA had to offer as far as Marvel games. My sadistic sense of humor had me dying laughing when I would throw the shield at one of the terminals sending 6 Hydra troops flying all over the place. Had SEGA would have put a lot more time into the combat and making the environments seem more like "Hydra took over a castle in the most visceral fashion." the game would have been even better, but still for Cap's first solo game, it served its purpose. I've rendered this game "un-tradeable"

The wait for this game

One week to go. Even though the wait is quite painful, I am gonna sit back and try to enjoy it. I've been excited for this game since before the Rhino trailer premiered in the middle of February. Ever since then I kept gazing at the calendar thinking, 4 months ain't so bad...but my anticipation for a good, free roam Spidey game made those 4 months look like it would never get here. Now, a week to go, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief that it's almost here. In a way it feels bittersweet. Next Tuesday is gonna be off the charts.

Hah yea i feel ya man. Iv been on the fence for pretty much the entire time, granted i was much more impressed with the early impression than i was when SD and EoT were being talked about. After that first Rhino trailer though i started feeling better and then of course during E3 i was completely sold. The game comes out the same day as my final class for this semester, so I'm gonna have a good week or so to play before i gotta go back to class for the following semester. Can. Not. Wait.

Totally agree. The game itself was quite easy, but something about it was just fun! It was also the easiest platinum that I have ever had. With both inFAMOUS games being a close second.

So even though I have completed Cap, I still like to pop it in just to beat some guys up. The only thing that annoyed me was the sound the "heavys" would make. The one that sounded like metal dragging and then a heavy grunt/sigh. It was just weird sounding.

On the subject of TASM game though, I absolutely cannot freaking wait for this game. My only gripe about the upcoming game is that I wish they would have added 3D to the game. It would have been so fun to swing through the city and have that added depth that 3D brings you. I know that probably most people won't agree with me, but I thoroughly enjoy 3D gaming. Scenese like what UltimateWebhead has for his avatar would be amazing looking in 3D!

They will be revealing the costumes this week. First up is the Main/Movie Costume. A version without the belt (like in the movie) will be available when you first access Peter's apartment in the game.

really hope we get the classic costume as well as Ben Reily or Scarlet.
