I'll wait each game to go down in price to the half, it's not like I won't find them in a local shop

Cause spending too much money on a newly released game + cargo taxes effect on consumer is a waste, and they will be on shelves two years after their release, so no biggie

I'm just focusing on Madden, Batman: Arkham City and Assassin's Creed: Revelations for right now

The only game I'm getting day 1 is Uncharted 3. And I can see how someone would not like Uncharted 1, it had its fair share of problems. I love it, and it can't be called a bad game but that doesn't mean someone can't dislike it.

I've preordered uncharted 3 and eot.

Why released 2 weeks before Arkham City?

Because you dont want to be any where near Arkhams release date, especially if you have a mediocre game, which EoT appears to be.

But in all honesty it doesnt really matter. Considering how packed this fall is going to be, i dont see EoT having high sales. Im assuming theyll be even lower than SD's.

Not average?
You must be the only one here less excited than me about this game

Pretty much man. I want to like it as Miguel O'Hara is my fav alt Spidey but I can't get excited about what iv seen. I mean there are some neat concepts in it but It still looks too "copy and paste". I'll deff play it, but I won't be purchasing it until it drops in price, if even then.

But wouldn't it make more sense to have it release after Arkham's release date then?

Tbh, like you said, there's a lot of good games coming out in the upcoming months, it's safe to say EoT has no chance.

I'll get it, after a price drop. So far, it just looks pretty. Apart from that, looks like it's essentially Shattered Dimensions 2.

Being African American I like the idea of a black spidey, but I hate almost everything in the ultimate universe.

Im actually hoping the sales on this game aren't high. Then I'm hoping they decide to go back to Freeroam.

Why is it many want freeroam so bad? I've been looking forward to freeroam Spidey games long before the PS1, but accept what is available if awesome enough, and I adore 3 of the five free roam Spidey games

Because. It's Spider-Man. How awesome was it having the freedom to swing around, and go anywhere in NYC in Spider-Man 2?

I'm not saying free roam is the only and best way to do a Spider-Man game, but it's one of the best ways to go about it.

The problem is that it felt repetitive. They forced us to do side quests to unlock the new chapter of the story.
In InFamous, that is optional. If the only thing we want to do in the game is to complete the story, we can do it and each mission is different. If they could do it for Spidey, then I want a free-roam game too.

If EoT has good sales, then Activision might give more money to them to do a better game. Perhaps more time, too.
