I'm a PS3 owner, so I wouldn't mind, but considering the big stink people threw about the Joker being PS3-exclusive, imagine that being applied to Spider-Man games.
How do you play as Joker?

I own a ps3 as well so im all for it :)
I'm a PS3 owner who dislikes the system, and never played inFAMOUS, I'm in for it

What do you mean how do you play as Joker?

How do you unlock him?

Search the PS store for the Joker challenge maps. They're free.

EoT is a step up from SD in almost everyway...better graphics, way better story, improved yet simplified combat, great voice acting(although no change there), fixed camera issues, wallcrawling actually works, etc.

Still, I am a bit dissapointed about the length of the game and the lack of boss fights. Other than that and some minor issues this game deserves more than a 4.5. I saw someone else post that X-men got a 5.5. Really?! How can that game get a higher score and you can't even play as one of the starring Xmen? Granted I haven't played the game, but still. Very weird.

I read the IGN review and that guy has some serious hate in him. He must be a Batman fanboy or probably had some unresolved road rage prior to writing the review. Either way his complaints are way over the top and neglects to mention some real positives about the game. He truly lost me when he said "the great POV fight sequences from SD." Ha! Truly laughable.

I haven't read the IGN review yet, but from what iv played this game is a 6 and not a bit more. Deff think 4.5 is a tad low though.

I think both have the same kind of graphics, different coloring system

Weren't they doing that even before that?
I think it would be nice, Spider-Man being owned by Sony in media out of comics integrate things, if a developer could make a game exclusive for a system but would let so many less people complain about would go fine by me
Yeah back in the old days consoles used to get exclusive comic games. Sega had their own X-men game whereas Capcom made one for the SNES. I dont see why Sony/Sucker Punch cant make a bid for a game once the Activision deal runs out

Plus if what I heard about Spider-Man 2 the game being an inspiration to them for inFAMOUS, then we should very well be sure Spider-Man gets in safe hands

Then Microsoft can get the next Batman: Arkham game exclusive at that time. Who here would be pissed off about that ?

I'd still play it in PC, wouldn't be a loss to me

The only way thats ever gonna happen is if they threw a sh-tload of money at WB and I dont see WB letting the game go exclusive to MS. Its not the same comparison anyways bc WB owns the IP of the game they are publishing and that isnt going to go to any other developer's hands especially since they are more than content with Rocksteady (I mean they bought them bc of that). Activision doesnt own any of these comic IPs that they are making and are solely dependent on their deals with Marvel. If Marvel wants, they can distribute Spiderman to whomever they want when its over in 2017.

I think Comic Book Character Console Exclusive Games are out of the question. To popular & to much money for the Developers to lose
Sucker Punch would still sell more copies of their game than SD did

Microsoft certainly has the money to throw at WB to make it exclusive. Money changes everyones opinion about something. it always does & always will. But currently Microsoft has no balls

Why not? The point isnt that the characters wouldnt appear on both consoles, its that the consoles would make their own game. Sony has a studio thats well equipped to tackle a comic game , bu they wouldnt get exclusive rights to Spiderman for example. Marvel can still give the license out to another company to make one for the 360/Wii-U or whatever

It is WAY low. I could easily agree with a 6 with possibility of going up to a 7. The point of course is that the IGN review seemed just over the top negative and didn't really reflect someone giving a slightly opinionated, yet objective review of the game.

The heading of the review says it all..."Spider-man Edge of Time. Not worth your time." It's not even a creative use of the word time. He is basically saying flat out, this game sucks. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but holy flaming anger batman he seems more like a disgruntled ex-Activision employee than anything else.

It doesn't really matter. What matters is that I rather enjoyed the game, very much actually. I was just very surprised to see a score of 4.5. Not what I was expecting.

I enjoyed the game a lot, too. It wasn't as bad as some people are making it out to be.

I mean, if you hated Shattered Dimensions you'll probably hate this, but I rather enjoyed SD and enjoyed this the same.

I still think 4.5 is a tad low, but this game really doesn't deserve ones time. I just finished Act 2 and I'm done with this game. Its so damn boring. How they can make one of the coolest characters in comics boring, is beyond me, but they did it.

I had a good time with SD, but this, was dull from the word go. The BEST part of the entire game was the opening credits. Thats it. For those wondering if they should pick it up, wait for it to drop to 10 bux. Its not even worth picking up at 29.99.

To me, the Captain America Super Soldier game was like a 6.

Now I will say, when I played Edge of Time at SDCC, I thought it looked about ten times better than the Cap game did.

But the demo had some obvious problems and I think the combat and controls of these Spider-Man games has sort of regressed.

Now I was a little disappointed when I heard the game was confined to only one facility since I really just enjoy the feel of Spider-Man swinging around from buildings. Keep in mind the first Spider-Man movie game was not completely free roam, but it still captured this element very well.

Also, Batman wasn't exactly stuck in ONE building for Arkham Asylum. It was Arkham Island and it was a pretty sizable sandbox to play in. And it did have multiple buildings/facilities isn't. It wasn't like it was just one big building. Plus, Arkham is an integral part of Batman storytelling and history. And many great Batman stories involve the Arkham setting.

Now I mean, from the sound of things this and X-Men Destiny were very rushed and short games. So I mean, I think expecting more out of a Spider-Man game when there have been such great ones before isn't such a bad thing.

I had more fun with the Captain America game than i did with this, the combat in this game is dreadful. This is easily one of the more boring games iv played in a while. Describing Spider-Man, boring should be the last word one should use.

Did you complete the game?
I'd like to know if there's any variety to the enviroment or if everything looks so industrial for the entire game.

If Batman was exclusive to XBOX and Spider-man was exclusive to PS3, I'd go crazy.

I love Sony, but Batman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Spider-man, especially ROCKSTEADY's Batman voiced by Kevin Conroy!

If Beenox/Activision were smart, they'd have given us a free-roaming Spider-man Noir game instead of EOT.

Almost everyone's favorite part of SD was Noir, why would they take it out in their next game?
