Based on the ingame clock about 12-15 hours to do everything but there is a glitch or some exclusion of content that causes the in game timer to not recognize the entire play time. I have not finished yet but based on the difference so far to do all the main and side quests should take around 18-20 hours.

Thanks for the response. That sounds really good for a movie game. I just might break down and blow my money on it.

So apparently there is a workaround to unlock all costumes. You have to be offline and put the date on your console to the month of September. Darkness3389 posted about it on the gamefaqs forums. You still have to find the locations though and take the pictures.

I just confirmed that this works, just unlocked Negative Zone and Future Foundation.

Negative Zone and Future Foundation costumes vids... awesome!

Problem is once you reconnect it resets and goes away. I know bc it took away my spidey birthday hat.

No it doesn't the Birthday Hat goes away because its only for the month of August which is Spider-Mans 50th anniversary.

Just found the Big Time suit. It is behind the Red Stairs in Times Square, the ones with the Daily Bugle sign right in front of them. It is on the glass behind those stairs.

Beenox should have just included these, such a rush finding them yourself. I know one was at Central Park, so I guessed there should be one at Times Square and boom there it was.

Can't seem to find the stairs. Is it towards the northern, southern, eastern, or western side?

Can't remember, there is a statue in front of the stairs though and a bunch of tables and chairs, look for the big Daily Bugle sign. The stairs lead to nowhere basically.

Here's a picture of them in real life, maybe this will help.

Sweet, thanks for the hint

Finished the story on hardest difficulty along with a chunk of side quests in 10 hours.
Best spidey game so far, thanks to the combined inclusion of combat system, graphics/camera and webrush.
My first reaction to the swinging in free roam was that it's absolutely awful. After getting used to it for a while, it's better but still pretty awful. Indoor swinging is different from outdoor and it works well when available. Definitely a good idea to create the two separate modes. But the webrush is the most original and impressive gameplay feature. It makes moving around easy and look great. You actually don't even need to swing so long as you're quick with the webrush. Swinging is only required to fight midair, otherwise it seems to just be there out of tradition.

I totally agree with you.

I hate that we've always had two threads but this is just a copy pasta of my post in the other one.

I played for about 5 hours last night. I'll agree with the poster that mentioned not liking it early on but then having fun with it. The locomotion was my biggest issue but once you figure it out it is a blast. However, as fun as it may be, this spiderman (not the game just spiderman himself) is a huge step backwards from WoS spidey. Not being able to fight on wallsor attack from your webline? Silly. And spidermans locomotion controls in WoS were great while crawling, running, jumping, etc in open manhatten. This spidey, even after mastering the exhilarating webswing/webrushsystem, still feels sluggish.

ASM is absolutely in every way a better game though so I'm going with it. I do wish the petty crimes were actually random and not scripted, and I wish we had a second island, but I'm having a blast so we'll see how bothered I still am as the credits roll.

Loving the kaine suit. Rocked it for my last hour of play

Big Time is in Central Park or Times Square? You mentioned both and didn't specify which suit u found

I have 3 spaces left and apparently 2 are symbiot according to some people and I don't know the last one.

I thought it was really cool how the NZ suit was on the Beenox building. Didn't even know there was a Beenox building, hah.

Yikes! Gameinformer gave it a 6.75! I canceled my Pre-order.

Yea that was pretty cool, I wonder if the Raimi suits are able to be unlocked this way or just through the DLC.

So I got to play my gamefly copy today. Played it for about an hour and half. Webswinging, AWESOME. Combat, AWESOME. Graphics, AWESOME So far, I give the game an 8. It's really fun, pretty damn good IMO. Now to go after that Scarlet Spider outfit. :D
