I loved the movie, easily the best Spiderman movie I gave it a 9/10
How'd you see it already? Overseas?

I picked this game up the other day. After hearing so many good things about the return of freeroam in New York City, and the Web Rush, well I was sold. Then I picked up my copy and played it.
What a major let down. Almost everything about this game has disappointed me. I don't mind the voice cast, the story and graphics, but so far nothing else, for me, is good.
The combat is bland and uninteresting. The stealth elements feel....not so much stealth, just standard combat.
And the major disappointment for me was Web swinging. What a complete and utter waste of a detailed city. At no point did the webs hit any building to swing from. I felt as if Beenox rushed this game again to release much like their spider-man game lat year.
And web rush was a joke. An interesting idea, but felt tacked on and pushed as a major game feature for the web head.
And yeah I've played the game. Reilly1984 is my gamertag on Xbox. Add me and you'll see I've played it. Web rush is boring and made being Spider-Man an easy task. It like they didn't want to give us a challenge during gameplay and gave us web rush which makes almost any indoor level boringto navigate.
Sorry everyone else disagrees with me but this is not the Spider-Man game I've been waiting for.
You can play without using the web rush, try doing thatWeb rush is boring and made being Spider-Man an easy task. It like they didn't want to give us a challenge during gameplay and gave us web rush which makes almost any indoor level boringto navigate.
Either I'm really used to the system in SM3 and don't feel the difficulty plus not recalling it, or never faced itIf you want to go back to a system that made it difficult to do the moves that Spidey does without a seconds thought then by all means, head back to SM3.
But just because your web shoots up instead of a little bit to the right or left which you wouldn't be able to see anyways; even though the swinging has a good feel to it, and a good sense of momentum, it sucks? That is dumb
Btw did anyone notice that the voice of Spidey sounds like the voice of Donatello from The animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 series) ?
Well, that's because...it is.

The system in that game is easy
Am I the only one who plays all mini missions and side missions before starting a main campaign mission? Sure makes the story take some time :P
What you're neglecting to realize is that the web shooting 'alittle to the right or left' would completely alter your swinging trajectory, not just the appearance of the webs. As it is now, Spider-man is swinging from an invisible ceiling. If webs attatched to buildings, it's not like everything would look exactly the same except with webs going to the side of the screen, Spidey would swing in ways that are impossible in this game (such as side ways).
If I think Ultimate Spider-Man style of swinging, will that help?
Seems fairNah what helps is treating the game as its own separate entity and not associating it with the previous freeroam Spider-Man games.
I actually enjoy the stealth components MORE than Arkham City. It feels more satisfyingly spidey to me. Slowly sliding down on a web, tapping on a dudes shoulder then webbing him to the ceiling. I like the freedom of wallcrawling anywhere instead of stealthing from certain grapple points.
Also, I totally dont get the complaints about the combat being like Arkham City. For like the last 2 years, or at least since before Shattered Dimensions, I remember people saying in the Spidey game forums 'I would love the combat to be like Arkham City but more acrobatic'. Now we've got that but it's a bad thing? I don't get it.
