Was one of the first things I did, gave it a 9/10, can't be 10/10 because of Doctor Kafka, seriously, I was terrified.

Cheesy? I love that scene from TASM with Til Kingdom Come playing over it, I think one of the things Webb does is portray young love. It may not be for everyone, but I totally dig it! Even the skipping!

I watched a review on Youtube (I think by the BBC) where they talked about Kafka as a Dr. Strangelove inspired character. Sounds curious.

I did listen to it and I disagree with practically all of it, even though based on his last trailer video I think it would have been fair to have dismissed anything he said. He decided a while ago he wouldn't like anything to do with this franchise. Doesn't help his way of speaking is really, really, annoying.

And he criticises TASM 2 for wanting to make money, but he's the guy ripping off cinema sins...

Such a cheap criticism on his part. EVERY blockbuster Hollywood film exists so that studios can make money. Why is sony evil for making a movie to make money but not Disney or Fox? I don't get it.
 
The problem with his isn't his negative viewpoints, it's that more often than not he comes off as every bad angry fanboy stereotype there is. I can barely tolerate him for things I've agreed with him on he's so abrasive.

i haven't watched all of his reviews but he seems like a genually nice and intelligent guy to talk to. i may respect his opinion on him liking spiderman 3 but his feelings towards tasm was simply biased. it was stated that he wanted to like the new trilogy but everything he stated for the trailers and his overreaction of sony making mary jane into an african amaerican male(seriously, how can he not know that was a joke. i uderstand there are gender bends and racial switches in film but this was just an obvious joke. as if marvel would make spiderman gay. i have no problem with gay people but i doubt marvel will make an icon like spiderman gay even if he started out straight) was just him hating on the movie no matter what

9/10. Didn't like at first, 2nd I LOVED it. Defenatly better than any SM film!

I love the theme of time. Really suits Spidey as does this film, it's visually brighter and PP/SM is just like the comics so much I can't tell you how much I'm in love with this movie! US fans and audiences will love this!

The ending is the most inspiring scene in a CBM. Peter doesn't let fear defy who he is becausr HE IS Spider-Man!
 
have there been someonee who hated TASM that liked TASM2?

because he seems to be a passionate spiderman fan and passionate critic and writer and i believ his review blows and i would like to hear some thoughts on his flaws on his review and your back ups.
