Batroc has always been a favorite Cap nemesis of mine, and definately one of the most capable when it comes to hand to hand. There was an issue where he was one of the top dogs in a prison he and other normally power dependent supers were being held. I like seeing him used as comic relief sometimes, but he is a foe to be respected. I went off on a tangent. I'm of the opinion that most of the street level heroes that bound rooftops were parkour before parkour. I'm down for cap using whatever works.

I never said Batroc wasn't formidable, charming, or a bad character. I like him too, but I still think he's gay. Just look at his ballet shoes and high-water pants.

A mild version of parkour would be very appropriate given Caps abilities. Look at what Blonsky did in TIH. It was very Parkour like in some instances, but nothing crazy. Just utilizing his gymnastic ability to be creative in avoiding and approaching targets.

I'd like to see something akin to Krav-Maga with a little judo. Some boxing and kick-boxing would make sense too. In regards to Captain America learning additional fighting styles, would this be more evident when he fights as part of the Avengers? Martial arts and other fighting styles would be more commonplace and so I think it would work if he learns more fancy moves later. Conversely we don't want anything too jarring but just an evolution in his method of fighting.
