You’re going to love this film. So many great scenes that will burn into your retina (in 3D, natch), such great dialogue, so many moments that will live with you and and that you’ll be quoting at length afterwards. Avengers 2, however? It needs to be about something much bigger than itself.
How much are IMAX tickets usually?
Thanks this was pretty much what I was looking for. Honestly I would normally just kinda bypass any post production 3d cuz its usually pretty horrendous in my opinion. But Iv read a couple reviews that were blatantly praising the 3d, so I figured Id get a second opinion. Here's BleedingCool's review on 3D:

There are of course some pros and cons.
The pros being all the action scenes (despite the reviewer having a stigmatism) with the Hulk towering above you, feeling like you're inside Iron Man's suit with him, and feeling that you're right there with the team as Captain America leads you.
The cons were the Chitauri looking more CG in 3D and some of the flips Captain America makes looks like a video game.
In short, BleedingCool gives Avengers in 3D a go!
BleedingCool ends it with this:
Yay 3D for me.
Only film I saw in 3D was Iron Man 2 and I loved it.
So Avengers in 3D means I would love it so much I'm going to impregnate it.
Oops I meant Transformers. I was talking about Iron Man 2 previously and subconciously had it stuck in my head.
Iron Man 2 was never released in 3D.
