This is just a different animal. I'd hate to compare the two but since we've seen a Batman sequel and not the Avengers together in one film my excitement leans slightly in their favor.

This sums up my feelings toward both TDKR (and to a certain degree ASM) and Avengers. I'm more excited personally for Avengers, but I'm certain TDKR will get tons of accolades and a huge opening weekend for sure.

I'll be there at Saturday on opening weekend for all three movies. Husband's agreed to babysit for me.

I'd probably agree there's more of a novelty value to the Avengers in those terms. Whether that'll translate into the respective films' box office is another matter...
