John Astin who played The Riddler in Season 2 says BATMAN cancel "The Adams Family" he was on.

John Astin Claims The Original Addams Family Ended Thanks To Adam West's Batman (slashfilm.com)

Morticia (Carolyn Jones) appeared as a villain on Batman too.She was Marsha Queen of diamonds.

Yesterday, March 30th, was John Astin's 93rd birthday.

Yay he's still with us.
Competing with Gorshin's Riddler was going to be impossible. Anyway I prefered him as the role he really made his own, the outrageosuly eccentric Castilian Groucho Romantic - Gomez Addams,
Happy B-Day!

Still wish we'd gotten a full Batman 66 Family x Addam's Family crossover.

Imagine if this cameo had been followed with a full blown episode, the two eccentric families with secrets in their basements clash:

Bruce Wayne / Batman x Gomez Addams (batarang vs sword and daggers)
Catwoman x Morticia (whips and cat o' nine tails)
Barbara Gordon / Batgirl x Wednesday
Dick Grayson / Robin x Pugsley
Alfred x Lurch
Aunt Harriet x Grandmama
Chief O'Hara x Uncle Fester

Until they realize the Wayne's are just as spooky and eccentric as they are, and they've only been duped to go against each other, by the real villains.
Then have to team up to defeat them.

Not sure if this has been posted. Fantastic clip! He went all in to deliver this over the top character. True the villains are always winning at the cliff-hanger episode break, though by nature of the show they can't ever win by the end.

Also hadn't seen this pic, despite the intentionally over-the-top, outrageous scenarios, there was also an underlying terifying intensity to the character when he wasn't laughing it up. (similarly for Gorshin, Meredith)

cesar romero acted his pants off playing the joker in this show.

for me, he's my 2nd favorite live action joker right after heath.
he's the silver age joker come to life and set the bar for all subsequent portrayals, imo.

I was checking out the IMDB page for a minor actor named Rick Hill. He is best known for playing the title character Deathstalker in a couple of sword and socery movies . While looking at his page I found this picture -

It doesn't say what it is from, and there is no listing for a Batman connection for him on IMDB. When I google Rick Hill and Batman I get a couple of hits for a documentary - Batman Unmasked: the Psychology of the Dark Knight, where he is listed as a producer.

I was wondering if anyone here had any idea about this.

The only 'earlier' suit I know of is what we got, but a logo like one of the serials...

I'm glad they didn't go with that cowl. The ears look stupid even for this show.

Some days you just can't get rid of a bong!:oldrazz:

That's weird (real or photophakery?) in the actual movie it was labeled different.

Idk if legit, if so pretty neat, the original patent on the Barris Batmobile design. (oct 18 1966)

Also never noticed (maybe should go in the things I never realized thread), but in the Batcave-set Blueprints... it has the so called Atomic Pile labeled as "Lava Generator" suggesting the atomic power is actually fueled by energy from lava flow / geothermal energy, which makes sense in an underground cave.

unreliable google source said:
... magma and lava are radioactive, because they contain naturally occurring thorium and uranium, which are radioactive. But, they are not dangerously radioactive.
Unless of course you fall directly into it, as per Molly (Jill St. John), which was a terrible way to go go!;)
