If that doesn't highlight the differences between those 2 Batmen I don't know what will.

LOL that's the difference between the Light Knight and the Dark Knight :oldrazz:

:lmao: This is fantastic. West's Batman was such a moral man (providing a good example for children watching at home), and Keaton's Batman would try and clean up a problem any way he could.

West's Batman is the kind of guy who walks into a nightclub bar and orders a glass of milk.

Watching the prison break scene and its aftermath in Dr. Cassandra episode from season 3, this was the 1st time I notice that they used the Julie Newmar "Catwoman" and not the Eartha Kitt "Catwoman".
Of course the actors are all stunt doubles although they used Gorshin and Romero laugh track.

And Meredith's Penguin's laugh, too. That was one of the tackiest episodes. A string of super villains lined up and we only saw them from the back because they were being played by stunt doubles. No lines. Just dubbed over laughs from the actors who played them. Classic example of how thin the budget was stretched in season 3.

I believe you mean orange juice. :o

Oh yes sorry, orange juice.

I saw this awesome tattoo on Facebook:

That's some great detail. I can't wait to get my tax return so I can buy this series on blu ray. I want that collectors box.

What I loved about B66 was the short epilogue sequences. Some of them were light hearted and some of them were quite poignant. For example, I watched Catwoman Goes to College/Batman Displays His Knowledge again last night. I find this epilogue really touching and I watched it back twice. Catwoman saying it's a shame she and Bruce didn't get to know each other, and Bruce hesitantly saying he'd like to be Catwoman's friend. She says Bruce is nice, but her heart belongs to Batman. And then we get a close-up of Bruce's face as Catwoman walks away, presumably to her cell. Fantastic stuff.

That was a great one. A lot of them in season 1 involved one of the villain's molls having turned over a new leaf and starting a new life (Blaze/Susie/Finella etc).

Batman revealing to Commissioner Gordon the Joker placed a bug on him by wrapping a long cord around his waist and sticking it down his pants.

"Yes of course. Now I remember; a strange costumed character DID bump into me on the subway this morning."

Only on Batman '66.

:lmao:

Oh yes sorry, orange juice.

Surprised how well they conveyed that without the audience realizing they were just that

The budget that year really broke my heart and the only thing there that looked in line with the previous two seasons in budget was the final episode

LOL. Yeah the wire coiled around him several times and went all the way down his pants. And somehow Joker did that just by bumping into him.

Classic B'66.

I'd say the audience did realize it back then.

That was the worst set of season 3. By far. I mean could they not just go to a dock or pier and film it there instead of constructing that hilariously fake looking dock set. Yeah you're right the Minerva spa in the final episode didn't look like a black sound stage set. It's like they made an effort for the final episode, even though at the time they didn't know it would be their final episode.
