The Batman General News & Discussion Thread - Part 2

It was usually Robin who solved all the riddles, iirc

I wouldn't say Robin solved all the riddles, and half the riddles he did solve, it seemed like Batman already knew the answer.

Either way, West is still smarter than any of his live action successors, and has been the only live action Batman that comes off as a genius detective.

While it’s not entirely certain what happened in their conflict, Batfleck has canonically defeated The Riddler and kept his shirt in the bat cave. This was a version of Riddler that was supposed to be smart enough to solve the anti-life equation.

Jessie Eisenberg maybe

Ok now now that I know it exists I know I hate bellybutton question mark dot.

i know i posted it, but i don't like it either.
i like azzerello's other stories, but i wasn't a big fan of his joker story as well.
when elseworlds tales get too elseworlds.

Just out of curiosity what would you guys think if Reeves introduced Robin like Ellie from TLOU, Atreus or kid from The Road.

Batman is put in a position where he has to protect Dick from some threat Thats following them, like maybe Penguin sends some guys to kill Dick because he saw a huge murder or something.

Over the course of the film Bruce and Dick learn more and more about each other and grow into a father and son relationship, give Dick the obligatory "Sacrifices his young life, for the Hero!"
Bruce adopts and gives him some basic martial arts training to protect himself and in the third film we get full on Batman and Robin/Nightwing

That’s almost EXACTLY what I’m thinking, except I think the threat Dick needs protection from will be The Court of Owls. They’ve been known to seek out and forcibly recruit circus performers.

you guys are basically creating a better version of the all star batman and robin plot here.
and i am all for it.

This might sound hokey but I keep picturing a future sequel/movie like this

Gordon is driving up to Wayne Manor. He lets Dick Grayson out of the car. Bruce welcomes him.

In a Star Wars type ending shot the camera is focused on the backs of Bruce and Dick as they watch Gordon leave and the sun slowly go down.

The audiences knows what lies ahead for their future......
