Well, speak of the devil, a new interview came out in which Robert literally compared this movie's script and how he wants to approach it to Joker.
Nieuwe Batman Robert Pattinson: ’Faalangst grote drijfveer’
The interview was done like a month and a half ago or 2 months or something like that.
bruce basically saw his parents get murdered in cold blood infront of him when he was like 10 years old & he lives in a chigago lookalike city where murders & crime are commited everyday, so what's up with this whole pg13 or i dont want bloody violence stuff ?I’d only want an R rated Batman if they went full on horror a la Arkham Asylum: ASHOSE. I don’t need curse words or bloody violence.
batman world is a whole rated R experience, its not peter parker we talkin about here, most spiderman fans are kids, while its the opposite for Batman, its not gotta be a problem for the box office
Did we already know this?
batman had 5-10 years old fans that cant wait to see his movies, when he fight people with Machine guns & where most of the subject matter is Adult friendly ?Nah, Batman is still a spandex and underoos hero just as Spidey at his core, with just about the same fan base. He's timeless for a reason.
I wonder if Batman will be an urban legend in Gotham, or pretty public knowledge. Or maybe we'll see the transition from one to the other in the film.
more rain reaffirms my belief that this movies look is gonna be very David Fincher inspired Especially with Se7en.
A pretty great arc for Batman would be going from urban legend vigilante to the hero of Gotham City. That sort of exists as a sketch in the first Tim Burton movie, but it really works for the character and I'd be into seeing it here.I wonder if Batman will be an urban legend in Gotham, or pretty public knowledge. Batman Returns might be the only movie where Batman doesn't break any kind of glass himself.
I feel like Batman's changing relationship to the city is more an aspect of Dark Knight and that his transition from obscurity to an established fixture of the city is more something that takes place off-screen between Begins and TDK. Whereas in '89, the narrative of the film itself involves Batman being forced out of the shadows and urban legend status as he responds to the actions of The Joker and ultimately ends in the public unveiling of the Batsignal as the city embraces him. But yeah, about this new movie....hahaI mean that's essentially his arc in Batman Begins, continuing into TDK.
I forgot one of the most memorable moments in that movie. He punches out the Batmobile TV screen.
