For me Ray Winstone would make a great Penguin. Sure, he's 5'10, but you could think of him as an Emperor Penguin lol
He's got the look, the menacing voice and attitude.
Kaya Scodelario...Now, I can place her under 3 potential roles. Catwoman, Batgirl or Poison Ivy. Being 20, she's more BG at this point. However, she oozes sex appeal and a serious tone, which would work perfectly for either CW or PI.
Pierce Brosnan as Alfred. This either gets a mixed to positive reception. Brosnan has been described as being a little too cold for Alfred, which is true to an extent. However, I feel seeing him in roles where he's around children, he gives off a great father figure feel. When I think of any actor for Alfred, I think of an actor who would be the best father figure to a young Bruce Wayne, and Pierce fits that mold imo.
He would be somewhat different to Gough and Caine. Definitely less jolly. But I see that anyway when I see Alfred in the comics. The no no-nonsense type, who will occasionally butt in with a sarcastic quip. More dry than Caine. But I imagine Pierce as Alfred would be more of a tougher and more tolerant type to Bruce being Batman and taking on partners. Alfred must realise that every soldier, no matter what age, has to fight his own war. That needs to change from Caine and Gough's takes.
Bryan Cranston HAS to be Gordon. But since he's dedicated to Sony, I see him getting snapped up by Sony for Jameson or someone else in TASM...just be positive!
