First of all, that move is a joke. second of all ,they can make the original bane mask look like spiderman's movie mask if they wanted too. He looks like a luchador in "Batman and Robin" because that is what they were going for with Bane's look.

You brought up the comparison of Bane to Spider-Man's mask in the first place. Spider-Man's mask in the movies is the EXACT SAME as the comics. They are identical. Along with Iron Man it's the most faithful adaption of a comic book costume to screen.

Maybe they could make a Bane mask that doesn't look like a Luchador mask, but if they do it you can bet it won't be looking like the comic book one.

Just edit and shoop the colors of Bane’s mask and design to that movie pic of Spiderman. I don't have that shoop skill but that is what I am talking about.

Personally, in my opinion, the armored mask look fits best for Bane in the movies and in the comic books if they wanted to keep a more traditional look. And they should tone down his size to Dwayne Johnson’s current size.

You seem like you have a lack of manners and attention span. I didn't deny Bane could have mask that doesn't look like a Luchador mask, but to do that it won't resemble the comic book one. Certainly not nearly as closely as the Spider-Man one is a mirror image of the comic book one.

It would look like a Luchador mask if you did that. Transplanting the look and colors of the comic book mask onto the screen won't radically change the look.

I always thought the Spider-Man/Deathstroke/Venom/Deadpool/Bane mask was inspired by the look of mercenaries, not luchadores. None of them really had that mouth opening.

In fact, I thought their eyes were "goggles" or lenses. The only "wrestler" thing I got from Bane was his shirt/vest and his chest and muscles showing. I always thought that black/red/white mask was cool.

I just read this and what a read. This truly opened my eyes. I would advise people who may not like this film as much as some of us here but still do like it or are still on the fence to please really give this a good read through. Ice theme I would never of thought of, That blue dress & blue flower(that selina is his blue flower). Bruce doesnt need the rope now (batman) & Blake swinging into the cave with a rope, because Blake believes in the batman (which he will become) to help people and cope with his frustration with no longer being with the police force cause he believe their laws are shackles in helping people. Point is Blake needs the rope(Batman) to achieve his goals Bruce now doesnt need the rope/help/Batman because he can and has done what he wanted to do.

As a comic character he was either a B or a C list, as a Batman villain he has allways been minor A List, with the film i think he's right after the Joker, Two-Face, Penguin, Catwoman and the Ridler. Considering how recent he is that's a great status, Ras All Ghul is possibly tied with him, thinking about it Ras may be a little higher than Bane. But while Ras has been used a lot, i generally see people barelly talking about him, while Bane is very known.
