I’ve secretly always wanted a modern take semi-inspired by the ’66 series. The characters and environment were just so exciting to watch, and truly was “lived in”.

It obviously does not need to directly adapt the campy tone, but it was distinctly a comic book world and I admired how unapologetically true to the source (for its time) it was.

They (the specular bomb called Polito who retired last month and still posts scoops, and his boss) are sticking with the 1/13/2020 filming date, so they must be thinking reveal Dec, filming Jan.

I dunno. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think WB plays the concept art game like Marvel does. Typically they'll release an official still before outside filming takes place, but that's usually our first look.

Those are more like white pupils, rather than the full eye that people have proposed. But looking at how that art executed, it may be a good compromise for both crowds.

It worked to great effect for Bale during Joker’s interrogation scene, for example.

I seriously don't believe for a second these guys have connections high enough to know what the batsuit actually looks like.

But assuming it does, man, Pattinson is gonna have to work out a lot to make that thing work. I love how it looked on John Regan's fanart.

I really hope this idea that reeves is using west era style is true. Literally the worst batman stuff ever. I dont want a single thing from that tv show or movie.

i hope the batsuit is going to be some kind of dark blue - that would be actually more realistic.
read up on historical ninjas - they more likely wore dark blue than black (what pop culture usually portrays).
because dark blue hides better at night.

and they can do it as a cloth suit too because bulletproof cloth exists now.

maybe something like the mcu captain america suit - but with more darkness and no parents!

i think white pupils in live action will look dumb tho, unless its like some temporary special use lenses like in the dark knight.
this is batMAN not scorpion from mortal kombat.

I know I already said it but I just love that mock up that Invader Joker posted. Makes me 100% on the navy blue/gray train. That suit is damn near perfect. Like a live-action fusion of Jim Lee's and Marshall Rogers' Batman.

i hope its something close to that.

marshall rogers' is probably my favorite batman artist.

neal adams is arguably the best and most iconic, but something about rogers' depiction just makes me think "now that is THE batman."
