The BATSUIT Thread

Figured I should post this here as well:
If we get something very similar to this, I'd be over the moon.
The bat insignia placement is a little too high and the muscles look like something you'd find at Party City

It just looks very ugly imo

After the news of James Dean starring in a new movie, what if Serkis is mo-cap and we actually see a CGI Michael Gough. Serkis would nail it...

Okay. Something like this would be sick

The one with the normal logo (Not the yellow oval) could work but it is mostly meh visually for cinema. Part of the Batsuit should be something striking I think. This is perfectly serviceable though just not unique. Might be because it's so monotone, idk...

The thing it does really interesting is the details under the cape in the back though.

I don't see what everyone likes with the Bob Kane Batman? Is it the quirkiness of the purple gloves, or the weird ears on the cowl?

It's definitely cool to look back on, and it's a product of its time, but I wouldn't want that translated to live action.
Agreed. I think it would work really well if we were getting a movie set in the 1930-40s, but I'm not sure it works these days.

Another manip of the Earth One suit:

This is still my favorite fanart cowl though (probably because the artist renders Robert's facial structure correctly):

Just thinking out loud about how to fix the beck turn problem. What if the cowl and neck piece were one, but weren't fixed to the cape and shoulder?

So the head could turn freely without buckling under a solid cowl/neck piece and while not looking like a bobble head like bale where the cowl was like a helmet. Then cape would act as sleeve to the neck piece, Basically a collar of sorts in the neck area on the cape. Then for cowl that has a neck sleeve extending only to the base of the neck, The collar on the cape hides where neck sleeve on the mask ends, giving the actor full range of motion.

This sounds kinda similar to how the White Knight cape and cowl looks. I could definitely see that, I really like that type of, almost Draculaesque, look to the cape and cowl.

Yeah sort of, except I'm picturing the collar as resting flat and around the neck as opposed to being folded out like that one.

I can see why people like it but it really feels like an outdated concept now.

Longer ears and different symbol and I wouldn't be opposed to this, gold belt also
