There’s one Batsuit I’ve been trying to find from years ago. It was him with vampire teeth holding a huge Batarang, if I remember correctly. I liked it as a template for a cloth-based suit.

I know exactly what image you’re speaking of. It was a 3D rendered image. I can’t seem to find it online, though.

That cowl is sleek and suggests a much more agile, mysterious Batman. I would love if Reeves went in that direction

Mysterious in terms of its covering his face I guess, but it looks like one of those parody superheroes you'd see in the Watchmen TV show.

The idea of the bat costume being intimidating is more of an in universe justification for having the costume, as opposed to an actual real world idea.

Sorry to say but a rubber bat cowl will never look intimidating or other-worldly because we as humans have the ability to recognise it for what it is - a man in a rubber bat cowl.

I would rather them try and make a cool costume that is aesthetically pleasing, as opposed to limiting themselves to what is or is not intimidating, as the reality is a superhero costume is never going to be intimidating.

Since we're discussing unreliable rumors, here's another one. The DCEU leaks subreddit is full of crap a lot of times but I do remember a few months ago a dude said that Giacchino has already written his Batman score which turned out to be true.

Anyway they're as reliable as Polito, KC and Daniel at this point

I find the blue suit to be very pleasing to look at and I don't think you need to just have nostalgia for the 60's show to dig it. I'm willing to bet at least half of Batman comics and cartoons throughout the decades have him with that look. After 30+ years of the black cowl on film I'd love to see them give the classic blue a go and I'm confident they can pull it off.

I kinda doubt that. Polito, KC and Daniel all have had accurate scoops on certain details on the film. It’s when they veer off into casting rumors that they miss the mark and become far less reliable.

I mean, they (the costume designer) could be working with the production designer and cinematographer to set up how it's gonna look on certain scenes. In fact they most certainly are since the costume designer for the batsuit commented this when the cinematographer was confirmed.

The final suit? Totally, I can agree to that. But it’s not at all hard to imagine that there’s a fair number of sources that are hearing and seeing individual pieces of concept art and hearing about the general mentality about where the team’s head is at overall.

The general descriptions of the Batsuit have been pretty similar/the same across the board from a ton of different scoopers- including ones that typically bicker and argue over conflicting info. So to me, that points to the info most likely being legitimate to some degree.

Lol a random guy on Reddit is not more reliable or on the same level as the scooper trifecta. For one, they've actually gotten a couple of things right and actually have sources

Just accept the fact that the Batsuit might be blue. This is not even the first time we've heard about this. We were hearing about it as early as last month and now they're all saying the same thing-- even people NOT in the scooping trade

As far as I know, the blue suit rumor originated from those guys at CCXP, and appareantly the guy that originally reported it misunderstood their words, some brazilians have said it.

It came from Ryan, actually, 2 days after that video so that CCXP video is likely the initial source.

Note how even Ryan labeled it as rumor. Heck, every scooper has done it so far. Nobody is 100% sure on that info.

With all due respect, it feels like you’re trying your hardest to come up with any reason to dissuade everyone here from talking about the Batsuit being blue and gray- even just the possibility. Maybe the Batsuit won’t be blue, but for now I think the collective rumors are a worthwhile justification for it to at least be talked about for now.

I'm very curious about how Reeves would pull offf the blue and grey costume IF it really is the choice. Not saying that it is, but i dunno...IF it is set in a seventies setting, could it be EVEN more plausible ? I mean, even cops back in the day had blue shirt and he could blend better in a bluehish skyline ahaha yes Batman should be intimidating, we wan't all him to be. But there are different ways for him to be intimidating. Not saying that the costume should look ridiculous ahaha but cinematography, how the Batman will put himself in action, him moving into the shadows, will help anyways. Dunno interesting.
