I can see Reeves going for something simple. I wouldn’t be surprised if the suit reveal elicits only a satisfied, but not enthusiastically positive, reception.

This dude is incredibly talented (he's the one that did the Batman sculpture Glyn Dillon liked) but man... I feel like he has effectively designed a suit that'd piss everybody here off

So...glide cape or no glide cape?

It might feel a little out of place in a gritty detective story - I honestly don’t expect much in the way of flashy, fancy gadgets that have nothing to do with forensics - but I’ve felt for a long time now that gliding capability should be a permanent fixture.

Yes to the glide cape. Why would it be out of place in a detective story?

Honestly the glide cape is the best addition to the Batsuit in the last 20 years. I can't wrap my head around why anyone would dislike it. It's perfectly believable and it's not any more out of place than the rest of the batsuit is.

Relax. Didn’t say he couldn’t and I’m not saying he shouldn’t. I can just see how it might look out of place if Reeves leans heavily on the gritty, grounded, detective angle (which could result in less of an emphasis on flashy gadgets and more on somewhat realistic tech and Batman’s intellect), but like you said, it’s still Batman at the end of the day.

I think you're all overestimating this whole "gritty detective story " thing... it won't be Seven or The Usual Sospects,this is still a blockbuster movie about a comic book character, you know.

Looks like a mix of the Arkham suit and Bermejo. I hate the Bermejo emblem. The dude is super talented, but I can’t stand parts of his Batsuit.

Yeah, i dont think Shoulder spikes are something that will work outside of really stylised stories.
The Noel symbol isnt the worst idea imo, like the style...but i can see it being a pain in terms of mobility, lifting the arm above your head seems kind of hard when the symbol is attached to the cape and all that.
Trunks of course need to go too, even with Textures and stuff its a look that will never be good to me...i have reached the point where it is just looking silly, its one thing where i want comics to grow out of.

But overall a nice looking piece.

This caught my eye as like a base suit. A little techy but could be streamlined and made more bat-like. Maybe bulk up in some places.

Its not the worst @Patron12 but it can easily fall into "looking too much like rubber"...but the idea isnt too bad.
Make it tighter and slap a belt around and you have a decent frame.
