I like the blue but overall it looks like a better BvS suit/cowl. I hope the movie delivers something that makes all of us surprised by how truly different it is compared to Affleck, Bale, Clooney, Kilmer, Keaton. Where it’s obvious it exists in a completely different universe.

Which Capullo design? He has a few. Do you mean: Court of Owls, Zero Year, or Rebirth?

I’d rank them: 1.) New 52/ court of owls. 2.) Rebirth suit and 3.) zero year.

The new 52 is a little more busy looking than what I’d like in a live action suit but I love the fabric/over the armor aesthetic in the battle damaged moments with villains.

I love the rebirth emblem but I realize I might be in the minority on that.

Since we're talking random designs that play up the whole "bat" motif, I always loved this design idea:

Complete with sonic weapons to give off a blood chilling "shreik". I mean, you come across that silhouette in a dark alley at night with that shreik...

That is cool.

That kinda just looks like a more stylised version of the Begins suit

Aside from the Zero Year look and Gordon-Batman, Capullo’s Batman is just kind of a standard Batman look. I don’t see what’s not to like about it.

I dunno, maybe it is as Sawyer said, the fact that it is kind of a generic modern Batman. To me, it's "nothing special" I guess. I'm similarly not a big fan of Jim Lee's work. I'm generally speaking not a fan of shorter ears and I don't like the big heavy gauntlets of the post-Nu52 designs. I'm also really not a fan of how he draws Bruce's face. I prefer Bruce to sharper, more angular features. In terms of a modern Batman artist, I greatly prefer David Finch's work, especially on Batman Incorporated.

In some kind of alternate universe, with a clearer, more concise overall plan by WB enabling better scripts and stories, that very well may have been fun to see.

Honestly, I'm still shocked Marvel did the shared universe thing first. WB had the rights to the entire DC roster for years and did nothing with it. The DCEU should have started in 2005, imo.

I'm glad he nixed it honestly. Nolans trilogy was perfect as it is and very much contained.

How does everyone feel about this design?

It's pretty much the new 52 suit but with typical batsuit features. I know it doesn't show much but I like it. Specifically the texture of the armor and fabric. The only thing I don't like is the lenses/ white eyes.
