OK, I believe she's saying the gun that killed his parents was used to create the emblem on his chest piece...not sure why...but whatever.

Not gonna lie, I'm a big fan of the suit. While it's clearly armored, the overall texture is still quite solid. It's a solid piece (from what we can see) rather than the weird segmenting of other armored suits like TDK suit. Also, the symbol's definitely new, but I love that it's kinda obviously a callback to the Detective Comics 27 version. I adore the cowl and I hope the ears are at least medium length. It looks too...slender for the stubby Miller ears. Honestly, I really dig this. It's different, it's unique, but it's still...Batman.

If you look at the symbol up close, you can kind of see it. If the gun was cut down the middle of the barrel and fliiped so the handle would be the base and the barrel the wings. No idea if it's legit, but almost too out there.

I can kind of see it, but that's sort of a ridiculous sort of thing. If you are creating an armor chest piece, why would you want to put a split gun in the middle of it? That's weird and makes no sense.

Maybe she mean't something like that?

I agree, someone posted that tweet on reddit and it seemed almost too out there for someone to think of within minutes of the video being posted. Was wondering what people on here would think.

I mean melting it down and putting it in the armor is one thing but splitting it in the middle like that is just sort of like a weird tacky design choice.

Some are saying it’s the gun that killed his parents taken apart and designed to be the symbol. Gun handles are kinda noticeable there, but idk.

some are also upset because the symbol doesn’t have ears. I just imagine his actual head is meant to be that aspect of it. Idk. It just doesn’t bother me at all. The collar is the only thing I’ll have to get used to. It’s not ugly, just not what I think of when I think of Batman. I like the cowl, cape design on his neck, the armor, and Pattinson’s face in it.

The score is the best bit of this though.

- visible stitching
- clunky mech-armor (exposed bolts??)

I could have never fathomed any of these things making a final suit.

I hope to god this is prototype for a more refined one.

Yeah it isn't what I was expecting at all. The collar I can see being useful in a design sense as it can give the shilouette of the thick neck we're all used to but maybe still allow for some neck mobility.

As I said before, I saw the lack of ears on the symbol as a callback to his first suit in DC issue 27. The symbol itself doesn't look too far off from it

I'd always expected it with Rob's jaw, but this goes so damn far back. You can literally see his sideburns!

Watch someone manip the classic mouth outline, and it would look a thousand times better.

I'm seeing where the Adam West rumor came from. The brightened pic highlights a square-ish nose in particular:

You can even see where all the seams would be.

Definitely see the influence. And joyous, no lenses. All the people complaining about needing lenses in pajamas and stuff will continue to cry and moan

people are hypothesizing that the chess logo actually can be used as a batarang
