Yeah, it is a strange choice considering it is leather. A nice rich, brown or tan leather utility belt would fit the mismatched, homemade aesthetic, break up the monotony of the black and grey, and be a nice homage to the yellow/gold belt in the comics.I just wish the belt wasn't also black.
It's giving me zero interest vibes.Weirdly it's giving me zero year vibes

Fanart of the suit. I still don't know what they were thinking with the gauntlets. It's so distracting.

Definitely not a good look. I'd rate it at a 3 out of 10.Here a higher quality pic, guys (can see suit details)

Since the initial reveal I've been worried this take would try to out-Nolan Nolan. For the record, The Dark Knight Trilogy is sacred to me, so it's not like I'm not a fan of that, but... That's already been done, and to an incredible standard that has not been met by any other comic book movie(s).
I just can't help but feel this is regressive.
This in particular is a really tough image for me. I *LOVE* the Zero Year suit and especially this part of it. It's one of the coolest looks I've ever seen for Batman. The image on the right has absolutely NOTHING on it, despite the obvious influence. Even if we are lucky enough for it to be a "prototype" suit, it's just an absolute eyesore. The mask has got to be the ugliest live action depiction of Batman since the 40s. It's just shameful on so many levels. I have a feeling I'm going to love the performance, and for the love of God, I hope there's a cooler suit out there later on, but in general, this is the crappiest Batman has ever looked on film for as long as I've been watching (which is, in theaters, since 1989).
Definetly not a good look. I'd rate it at a 3 out of 10.
The cowl looks downright ridiculous. with this lighting the chest plate and shoulder pads just don't work and the "Black Widow" forearm weaponry doesn't look much better with that plastics straps hanging around. The belt is ugly and even the symbol, which i was existed about, doesn't look good with everything else... I mean it all looks like a mismatch.
This has to be the Batmans earlier suit. It looks very home made, without any sort of polish whatsoever... There's faded orange on the symbol so i guess that color detail could be making it's way to the new look, The armour is spray painted black over what looked like it's original green color. The pads, the straps, the dark camouflage, the leathery cowl... it all points to an early prototype look for Batman.
I bet it changes and develops later on into something much better. As it stands it's just plain bad.
What? Is it written wrong?

Wow that’s quick and quite nicely doneFanart of the suit. I still don't know what they were thinking with the gauntlets. It's so distracting.

Chill bro ... I was just told this type of terminology and language is highly offensive. Reprimanded and everything. Don’t want you to suffer the same fateWhat? Is it written wrong?
Edit: I've edit it. No need to be a correction nazi.![]()
You’re kinda not lyingI sure as hell hope that's just the stunt suit, because he kinda looks like one of the fake Batman's from TDK, lol.
What are the orange bits on the chest emblem?
Not gonna lie, this is kind of bang on accurate. It's giving me zero interest vibes.

At the very least I hope tomorrow someone takes a photo of Pattinson in the proper suit.Maybe tomorrow, but if they didn't feel the need to drop anything today after the floodgates opened, I'm not sure tomorrow's gonna change anything.
