So looks like the cape will turn into a realistic “wing suit”.



Pretty lame, if you ask me.

I think they will enhance it in post.

There are hi res photos in the photos thread. It does not look like a wing suit to me. Maybe just some cover-up for the suit while they practice the suit. There also appears to be photos of the stunt guy just wearing the regular Batsuit as well.

Sorry but it looks exactly like a real wingsuit imo. The image of him in his "regular batsuit" is missing the cowl, chest piece, and gauntlets. They were filming him in the wingsuit, not without the full suit. He is absolutely gonna wingsuit glide

Actually, the suit looks better on the stuntman IMO. To me, the suit looks clumsy,bulky,busy and sometimes plain ugly. I know that right now it's cool to bash the Burton/Synder/Shcumacher suits, but I think that those suits in their own right look much better; this suit reminds me of something from the aborted Miller/Aronosky Year One project, and not in a good way. The cowl looks like something from an S&M shop, the body armor looks like riot gear and the boots are something you'd find in a military surplus store; I thought that a noir Batman would look like nightmarish, not robotic or military. I hoped that this kind of suit was a thing of the past, after the atrocious Bale suit(the second one at least, because the first was GREAT).

Completely agree with you. Nonetheless, I still believe this film will deliver.
I just hope that we’ll get a better suit in the future.

I think it would be pretty cool if Batman had equipment hidden all over the city and just had this wing suit stashed and ready to go at the top of this building.

I hope so. Would hate to lose the classic iconography of Batman with his cape spread wide.

What if this is a precursor to the cape gliding? Maybe this is Bruce's first time gliding so he needs the wing suit.

I'm all for it (assuming it's not CG'd out in post).

Yeah that doesn't look so good. Wing suit isn't a good look for Batman. It's gotta be the traditional open bat wings. I don't care what you say. Some things are just unchangeable.

I hadn’t even considered they may go practical for the gliding.

Aerial photography has gone a long way. Those wingsuit divers do some insane stunts to get their crazy shots.

I wanted Superman to take inspiration, but I’ll gladly take Bats spearheading the way.

I honestly hope there isn't. At least not in a second design. I LOVE the design of this. It's unique without being so strange its not Batman.

This is like my ideal batsuit, lol. I'd love to see this in live action (sans face mask).

Spray painted Bat is a cool visual, I liked the Chalk bat Nolan did aswell, I wouldn't put it on an official Batsuit though
