The BATSUIT Thread

Imagine the scenes if we see the new costume at comic-con?! I mean, its possible...
It's possible they might show some concept art just like Marvel did for the Vulture back in 2016. But I don't think they've built the costume yet, they probably want to wait till Pattinson is in shape and they can get better measurements in order to make it, but they might have the overall design in mind already.

Take with a grain of salt, but..

:funny:

No news except for casting selections I guess.

Very good points... great insight.

Never mind we ain't seeing anything at SDCC.

Well ain’t that some ****. I’ve poured in over 2k for my visit at SDCC this year, and that was my main attraction. Yikes.

I'm looking at some early reactions to the Batfleck reveal in the BvS forums.

This was yours:

It would seem that you liked it... a lot. I mean, most of us did. Sigh.
At that point in the process, Snyder could've dropped a picture of Batfleck stripped naked below the waste, squatting over a toilet and relieving himself of the two full pizza pies he ate earlier that day and I still would've sent him a ****ing thank you note.

Initial rush of excitement doesn't mean it stands up to 4-5 years of scrutiny.

Not massively surprised by no WB at Hall H.

I think these big conventions might be losing their lustre as promotional tools.

See also Sony not going to E3.

I’d imagine WB will be doing more controlled promotion online going forward, and probably holding their own events.

Isn't the movie coming in 2021 -two years-, why hopping for something now? idgi

I understand the business logic behind abandoning big press conventions like SDCC and E3, but I will miss the spectacle of them when they eventually go. They feel like such big, seismic events.

It's like a second Christmas for me every year. I'll be very, very sad to see WB abandon this tradition.

First glimpse pictures should appeal to the initial rush of excitement. They don't really matter on the long run.

Either way, Affleck's suit was totally dynamic. Walking back that idea, to then say, "Well, it doesn't hold up to me personally" is a bit of a stretch from his initial post/point.

It's just typical backpedaling.

WB not going to SDCC this year actually makes sense to me. I think they want to avoid dropping teasers/trailers a year or more in advance, which then leads to them revealing way too much content over time in order to keep up the buzz/hype for their films.

This is about Wonder Woman,
Oh my, if it's what I think it is :oldrazz:
I feel like it has a lot more to do with WB's SDCC presence than Wonder Woman.

I mean...

"Hey, here's our poster."
"Looks can be deceiving."
??? What's deceiving? IT'S A ****ING POSTER!
