Really don't want another armor plated suit

Sideshow always got some great designs they put out once in a while. Here's another one designed by Ivan Reis which I'm partial to because of the circular bat-emblem:

I'm cool as long as it doesn't get too busy or robotic in style. The need to turn Batman into quasi-Iron Man has been a recent trend I've never been a fan of.

I would love that yellow oval suit on a young batman and have him grow into the solo bat style. Kind of like batman from TAS into the JL cartoon.

Ehhh, Batman is essentially suppose to be a ninja. I prefer minimal armor on him. And if there has to be armor, I want it under the fabric suit like BvS.

The final piece of intel from the rumoured concept art is said to be a heavily armoured new Batsuit. How this will differ from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice remains to be seen but it's described as being "militarised." It's possible that Matt Reeves has just envisioned a totally new look for the character and this could be his permanent look or the hero will need it for a specific reason. I guess time will tell on that front but it would be cool to see more alternate suits for the Caped Crusader!

Ehhh... I really hope not.

Even if that rumor came from someone that actually knew something, I never trust the way people describe things like that.

Oh, for sure. Plus, they said it was just concept art. We've seen tons of changes within concept art. But I just hope it's not true. I don't want a Nolan or an Arkham Knight style Batsuit.

We'll just have to wait and see. I just wanted to use that gif, cause it makes me laugh.

To be honest, I can see Reeves going with a more tactical costume, as much as people may hate to hear that. Not that I believe this particular rumor, but it wouldn't surprise me.

And it's not that I'm entirely adverse to the idea. My whole knock against the TDK suit is just how fugly the damn thing is. Give it a decent enough aesthetic and I'm on board.

I agree Boom, about the TDK suit. It was just too busy of a design for me but a more streamlined and simple look would be fine in my eyes. I just don't want something busy looking via Arkham Knight or TDK or even Injustice. That statue above is a fantastic blend between tactical and comic accurate.

Just what is it with WB and armour-plated Bat-suits - after years of armour and plating we finally got an organic looking suit but it was seemingly just for one movie, then it was back to armour and plating again and this recent rumour even infers that there will be more armour, not less.
