I'm really hoping the oval makes a return as well. A slimmer build, blue-ish gray cowl/cape combo and longer Bat-ears.

I have zero issues with going back to black / having the oval / featuring the blue ... or any other alterations to the Batsuit, as long as the story and character is done right again.

Let’s face it, The Dark Knight batsuit was far from the best iteration, and yet it’s the best Batman movie ever made.

I just want a suit that looks like it could realistically get the job done, and one that’s aesthetically pleasing to look at.

As a preference, I’d like a slimmer Batman again, as opposed to Affleck’s bulky, almost heading towards fat look, but even that isn’t an issue for me to be honest.

Story. Character. Those are what matter. If the Batsuit is informed by the characterisation then all the better.

I'd say, if the push towards realism, then blue and yellow aren't the most fitting things. If they go for more fantasy approach or highly stylized look - then by all means they can try even blue cape and bring back the yellow shield. Knowing Reeves, though, who was always super-gritty, I suspect it's gonna be the former.

I like the suits I've seen ( based off of Rebirth) that has the yellow outline on the Bat. Nice homage to the oval without going all they way with it. I REALLY hope they stick with Gray as the base color. We've had all black armor for far too long.

Very grounded in reality adaptation. Anything like rocket penguins, undead females, Lazarus Pit, Poison Ivy and so on won't be featured in it.

I obviously can't guarantee that, I just base my opinion on previous works of the director. I've got an impression he strives for realism in his works.

Even if Reeves opts for a more tactical costume, I can't imagine him coming up with anything worse than the TDK suit. That thing was just downright fugly.

These are both beautiful and definitely along the lines of what I’d like to see.

The 3 biggest things I want in the next suit are:
- A sleeker suit. Bulky TDKReturns Batman was awesome, I want more of an Earth One/Neal Adams look.
- the oval symbol. It’s time.
- longer ears.

You mean that maquette? I believe it was only grey because it was a clay maquette. In all likelihood the final thing would still have been black, like the Panther suit.

Yeah, that did look like a placeholder type of deal, really early stages. Doubt Burton would have gone gray with it for his version of Forever. Would have loved to have seen that movie though.

Ahh, I saw some saying they thought Burton would have gone gray.

As for the new suit, it’s always been hard for me to get behind the blue and gray. I’m more of a dark color fan myself. I wouldn’t mind seeing a black with a blue tint though, that could be an interesting look.

A blue/gray suit would look killer in a movie graded like Blade Runner 2049.

Thing with the bat fleck suit, it was obviously it was padding to lock intimidating/protection for bruce. I felt if they had used the tactical suit, but slimmed down, it would look great as i always felt bruce worse under armour with a vest over the top, which is what the BvS was going for, but it looked too organic.
Like, imho - the Burton and begins suits you could tell were going for the look of plates and armour hidden in the suit. The latter Nolan suits were just high tech swat suits with a cape.

I would like a suit of plain cloth, which is probably military grade flame resistant and knife, over body plates.
