I'm frankly bored by tactical and utilitarian designs. I hope Reeves tries to push slightly more grotesque, dark appearance for Batman. He should look a bit scary, imo. Not like Solid Snake with black cape. One of the areas where I'd prefer them to step away from Nolan as well.

Not saying he should look exactly like on Kelley Jones illustrations, but I would love if they took inspiration from something like this:

Ears being too long can be an issue, but I don't want them short like Daredevil or Black Panther. Batman looks more impressive and "nightmarish" with long ears.

Also, I'd prefer Batman to reasonably conceal his techs and be a vision instead of a costume made of biker gear, tactical uniform and with tools hanging from his belt plumber-style because "realism". I voiced many times my displeasure of fake abs, but the idea of "it's not what it seems" needs to be pursued when they design a new suit.

This is my favorite in terms of texture.
Its not too busy, it has a nice mix between tech gear and fabric...and i love the boots and cowl.
But find myself switching constantly by now between which ear length, which color and style...its about time we get a look at how The Batman will be in terms of the visuals.

Kind of. The rumors were pretty vague, we didn't get anything other than "blue/grey with no yellow" and white eyes.

I just hope that we get better promo pics this time. I'm still horrified by the awkward poses and badly photoshopped pics of the Batfleck suit during the BvS era. The suit was way better than anything that they released lol.

What got me was the neverending stream of pics of Batfleck in his armoured suit from every single angle that they could possibly think of. That got real old real fast but most fans could never seem to get enough of the same old thing. They milked it dry, that image.

They should try to realize a prosthetic cowl : it'd be much more comfortable for the actor to wear (instead of a thick rubber thing) and I think that it'd look great on screen.

A million times yes. That photo above (and the Earth One image as well) really feel like “detective Batman” to me. Would truly love that direction...

I didn't like the small mouth opening, hated the bobble head neck, and the nose looked weird from some angles. Even still, it looked gorgeous at times.

This manip with a wider mouth opening and white lenses looks infinitely better though.

It looks too much like a helmet than a cowl. And that nose is so goddamn ugly. And his cape looks like a velvet blanket.

I hated the TDK suit.

I liked its brows (dunno what else to call them). They're much more intense and intimidating than the other ones. Bale looked like he was furious all the time in that cowl, while Affleck looked like he was just mildly frowning, if that makes any sense.

Nolan one said in an interview he wanted Batman's mask to express all the inner anger and sadness the character really has. So in terms of that, I like that, I like how angry it looks.

That said.. the mouth opening was too small, and it looked like Bale could barely breathe in that thing.
