Afflecks cowl could take an entire gunshot point blank, this looks like simple exposure to sunlight would weather and wrinkle it.

So it's obviously not cloth and is armored, maybe somewhat similar to Nolan, but it also looks like it might be more segmented individual interlocking pieces and not one solid suit?

I actually hate the visible nostrils. Never liked that in the comics whenever it was done.

You can also see that the cowl is sewn together with stitches. Very DIY, as we headed it would be. Looks like Daredevil. Not sure how I feel about it at the moment.
