The more low budget this movie looks and feels, like an indie film, the happier I’ll be.

Yea, I'm getting an A24 Batman vibe from it and I don't mind it at all tbh. It's different.

Also, the eyes being exposed reallly contribute to the creep factor of his design. I can see why Reeves wanted them to be seen as he looks very intense

Batman definitely shouldn't kill but criminals should definitely suspect there's some chance the bodies just haven't been found yet. It's probably mostly an effect of it being brightened but Pattinson's stare is legit unsettling, makes a lot of sense that (if I recall correctly?) his eyes were one of the things that won him the role over Hoult.

Batman definitely shouldn't kill but criminals should definitely suspect there's some chance the bodies just haven't been found yet. It's probably mostly an effect of it being brightened but Pattinson's stare is legit unsettling, makes a lot of sense that (if I recall correctly?) his eyes were one of the things that won him the role over Hoult.

Obviously the glimpse we have right now isn't particularly great to judge, but from what we can see I almost feel like the leather-type cowl adds to the whole "creature of the night" creep factor rather than not.
It kinda makes the thing feel more like skin, his eyes pop up in a way that's creepier, it could kinda trigger your "uncanny valley" thing. I feel like I'd definitely have nightmares if he stared directly into my eyes with that mask.

I dont know, the cowl looks weird. The eyes remind me of robotman in Doom Patrol. Im not sold yet on this one.
